hi :) (Smile) your very talanted, enjoyed the time i spent looking at your pictures gave me a lot of insperation. Do you have any opinion on the education programs and schools in sweden that have 3D/Game development/graphics educations? do you have formal training yourself? do you have any tips or advise for someone interested in becoming a professional 3D artist. and do you have a view on what the industrie is like in sweden now, very hard to get a job? are jobs being advertised or is it mostly thrue personal conections?

Hi, A lot of questions there :) (Smile) I've both learned through school and by myself. I think the schools here are fine, it's hard to compare. But the one I went through has help me very much. And job wise It's like any other place, hard to find and you mostly get them via contacts. And my best advise, for someone wanting to be an 3D artist, is to be very social and spend much free time on the web searching for ways to improve. It could be through tutorials, DA or any other media, but the main thing is to keep it up every way you can. I believe it's the only way. Learn by doing! :) (Smile)

I had given up hope you would answer, thanks :) (Smile) glad you did. the social part dident strike me before but i guess it goes for a lot of professions. im a bit shy but im working on it. There is a lot of good material for learning on the net but the problem is knowing were to start o.o there is so much! oh well im plowing thrue it slowly. learn by dowing indeed XD in zbrush yesterday for example i complete something only to learn I messed up somewere = lose 3hours of work were the last save was = redo! it can be frustraiting but im trying to take it with a smile, knowing ill learn the steps at least.

I realy admire your work, I especially enjoyed your halo folder. looking forwards to keep geting inspired by your new projects :) (Smile) and im glad you took the time for my questions, I dont have any conections with people who acually work with 3D so I apprichaite it a lot.

No problem, glad to help :) (Smile) I have also "lost" so much of my work trough either Hard Drive crashes or "waste" of time. But you learn from your mistakes. And remember that what I post here on DA, or what other very talented people post on the web, is only the best stuff. Trust me, there's so many failed attempts and lost hours behind those images. What keeps me going is people like you, appreciating my work. Sometimes it's hard to see something good in loosing up to two weeks of work. But a rule that I've learned to follow is that the result always gets twice as good the second time :) (Smile)
