Any tips for getting one's own story noticed on this site?

On this site, there lacks a definitive measure for boosting writing, as opposed to drawn artwork. The best ways that I've found include constantly writing, showing it to circles that may be interested in it, and (if you have the money) making commissions for said story through popular artists. These artists then whore your work out, and people who're watching them find it. Such as Neko-Maya with yourself

Long story short, though, people (such as myself) view it as an alternate personality, or a different part of themselves. Each animal is different from person to person, it's kind of like a "finding yourself," trip. There is no real "point," behind it, other than to embrace a separate culture; potentially as a means of imaginative escape, or otherwise.
