Hey John, how's it going? Read your last journal entry. Don't give up man.

For what it counts, my time here on DA as proven that popular deviants do the following to claim their status. They keep trying to improve their work, they are not afraid of trying out new things and they submit new stuff nearly every day. This along side being active, joining groups, giving your opinion and sharing other peoples work that you enjoy is the recipe to get acknowledged.

If you don't spend time on it, you shouldn't be surprised when people start turning their eyes to something else. See my point?
