# About me
My name is Joseph W. Johns. I've been on this site since July 2004 and it's safe to say that this is the site that made me a photographer. I'm also a former Midland Valley High School yearbook photographer, where I took pictures of sports and other school events. I graduated in the class of 2009 and won the school's "Spirit of the Mustang" award for my work. I also graduated Aiken Tech then The University of South Carolina Aiken. I was a sports photographer for the campus paper Pacer Times.In this gallery you'll see a variety of different photography and photo manipulations from 2004-present. For photography I have nature, automotive, railroad, urban, and many other categories.

I'm on Facebook and still active. DeviantART just outlived it's usefulness to me. This is why
I'm done with deviantART!I hate to announce that after 12 years I am ending my relationship with deviantART. This has been a while coming, but the last straws have come recently.
I have a stock account under my old username THE-PIT-MONSTERstock, itβs an account I havenβt loaded to in years as I quit producing stock imagery. Recently as June 29, 2016 it was banned for reason of Spammer. I was not aware of this until August. Strange because I hadnβt logged in the account for nearly a year, so I donβt know how this account could be a spammer account. However the ban had also been lifted sometime between, Iβm guessing and investigation found it was wrongly banned, however all my stock images have been PURGED! While I was planning on deactivating the stock account that brings up another disturbing fact, of what would happen if this were my main account. I would lose 12 years of my archives, only to be unbanned after acquittal, however, all my images w. I'm working on establishing my shutterfly and posting on a website that is more dedicated to improving necessary features rather than copying Facebook. There's so much potential I lost by not ditching this outdated site earlier. But no doubt everybody wanting to keep up with me very well can. I'm logging in now and it looks like nothing has improved from 2 years ago. But yeah feel free to reconnect.

Yeah, it hasn't and you're right. After my Core is up, I am falling away from this site too. I just don't want to waste the $200 I spent in 2015.

It's been so awesome knowing you all these years, hell, I think I even met you pretty close the beginning of when we both started DA, 11 years ago. I am not exact but pretty close. I've known you for at least 10 already. I cannot believe how time flies, seriously.
Either way, I really do hope your birthday is a blast and have an awesome day Joe! You Rock!
