Sorry if you get these kinds of messages alot but what do you think about the current season of RvB so far? Personally, I feel like the tone is sort of similar to Reconstruction as in, serious but not to the point where the comedy is thrown out the window. I'm also surprised about felix as he's turning out to be way different than I expected.

Hey, as a likely longtime fan of RVB like myself, do you think Blood Gulch Chronicles is all that accessible to new viewers?

Hmm...it's certainly a much bigger commitment now to watch the entire series from beginning to end
There's no denying that rvb has changed. A lot. As has the fanbase, and the culture of the internet in general. The Blood Gulch Chronicles could not be made today, I don't think.Β Does this mean BGC will become less relevant as time goes on? Possibly.
But does that mean the original seasons are less accessible? Well, no. All the BGC episodes are available for free on their site, those who are dedicated enough can experience rvb in its entirety. Access is not the problem, at least not in a literal sense. Β
Time is a major limiting factor. Fans who've discovered the show more recently might be a bit daunted by the idea of having to catch up with 20+ hrs. of historical content.Β These same fans might be in for a bit of a shock when they watch, say, season 1 for the first time. Again, the series was a different entity back then.Β
And if said fans' favorite character happens to be Carolina, boy are they gonna be disappointed...
Or maybe not. It depends on the person, really, and what drew them into rvb in the first place. Elaborate fight scenes? Okay yeah sorry not gonna be many of those. But it's got pretty excellent character dialogue and that's more substantial anyways.

I was looking at your RVB Date Meme pic, specifically the one with C.T. and York, and it made me wonder: Do you think the Freelancers were ever made to participate in formal UNSC events? And if so, how do you think they'd behave? I imagine it'd end with South and possibly Flowers getting drunk and breaking a table with food on it, getting it everywhere.

Haha, it's entirely possible-- the Director would need them to attend to make a good impression on those funding his little science project.Β I suppose it could be a little awkward if the UNSC knew they were human experiments and treated them as such. But this is all speculative anyway so we can just pretend that isn't an issue
