I'm okay, just trying to get the motivation to do something creative. It's so hard to get the drive to do something when there's no pressure to do it (like homework) lol

I moved back up north to CT and living with my Dad while I'm getting a Masters in Fine Arts. Then I'll be teaching hopefully at the university level. (Teaching little kids is too annoying lol)
Other than that...just practicing photoshop and drawing!

I really want to go for the masters but it seems like right now I have no extra time. I have always wanted to teach, but like you said, little kids can get really annoying. hehehe even in high-school, ( my mom is a high-school teacher and I know she would advise me not to). University level would be great.

Yeah...I kind of left quickly. I had gotten hired as an Assistant Art Director in Miami for a television show and a music video, but, turns out they cut the budget and got rid of my position (as well as a few others so I heard) before I even got to sign any contracts :'( So...since I was planning on using that money to sustain living in Florida after school, I had to scramble with a back-up plan...which was to move back up north and go to school there.
So...since all this happened a week before graduation, I really didn't have any time to hang out with anyone before I left. Which stinks. I didn't get to say goodbye to you, Ritchie--or any of the old dorm crew for that matter, or any of my old friends. But!!! On the bright side, I'm planning a return visit to Florida during the end of September. I'll keep you updated on exact dates and stuff---'cuz if you're not busy we should definitely hang out!

You better tell me the next time you are down here. heheheh I would like to see you. It sucks that after the whole club thing we never really got to hang out anymore. I feel like a lot of thing were left unspoken that I really wanted to tell you but never had the chance to ( nothing negative or anything that had to do with the whole club drama). Just things. it was nice having you around. Really let me know if you are coming down here so we can sit down and chat.

I found some more amzing artists here on DA! These are the the kinda of pieces that I'm TRYING to do for in my porfolio for the Evolve 3D Con in April. I wanted to go for these same kinda brush strokes, colors, themes and creature/ environment dynamics. I've just been too depressed and stressed out lately about a whole lot of crap to really think about any new spins on old ideas (so, yes, you were right I have been down lately. I lied so sue me). something that might help you with typing is this:
Find a long annoying thing to write (student handbooks work wonderfully for this)
Go into your phone's alarm.
Set it for two minutes after. (So if it's 4:00 set it for 4:04 or 4:05 so you have enough time to exit your phone and open up Word, set up handbook, ect.)
Going with the 4:05 example, once you're set up, don't start until 4:03. (Giving you exactly two minutes)
Type your little heart out.
Alarm will go off after two minutes.
Wood 2007 counts the amount of words for you at the bottom of the screen so you can see how many wpm you type. (Or you can check it under Tools i think)
Repeat. A lot.
Once you're comfortable with this. Shrink time down to one minute.
Tada!!

well let me see some of your styles then!! I'll give you my opinion on some of them and let you know where your strengths are!
And it's okay to have a lot of different styles---actually it's a really good thing because it means you're versatile and that gives you a better chance to get a job! (You'll have an easier time drawing in the style they want you, like children's illustration or horror film as opposed to being tied to one specific look)
