I've just got my full team set up and am just heading to Aether paradise for the second time
I tried shiny hunting am Alolan vulpix but no luck

Ah, okay. I just sort of rolled with things; I find whatever shiny Pokemon I find.
Also, I am making progress on the story. So far, I've re-worked the meeting; Mackesy has agreed to stay with Janus only for as long as it takes for modern medicine to help Kara (I figure this is sort of an AU event from her actual saga).

There's also the mission to help her get back to her own time. Though I could also see her wanting to stay, eventually. After a VERY long time.

The summary so far is that Kara's been given some medicine which can help her, and Mackesy's actually discovered Janus is as good as his word. She still doesn't trust him entirely, but she's making him guide her to Sinnoh so she can go back home. Her team's willing to go with it as long as nothing fishy happens, though they have their doubts too. It's considered a big step for her to trust someone, though it's pretty clear her whole team gets along poorly with Shade and no-one likes Merlin much due to bad memories of her father's Kadabra. And the fact that half the time, they can't understand what he's saying because he uses too many big words.

Yeah, I'm kind of curious. If Janus found out everything Jacobias had done, he'd probably unleash some righteous fury. Shade would have a field day, he's always looking to make someone's life miserable.

The plan would have ended with Jacobias being killed off, but in a way that spared his pokemon from dying. Nihri would have eventually ended up going with Mackesy, at Mackesy's request.
Nihri would have been too emotionally damaged from losing her master to be left alone, and Mackesy would understand after losing her father...

Yeah, that would be an interesting situation. I'll leave that aspect aside, since I mentioned this is a sort of alternate path. I guess I'll see where everything goes - I write with a basic idea and improvise.
