Don't thank me for the Llama, give a Llama get a llama :) I do however need comments, favourites and watchers, so if you like my art colouring pages please do think of me!I'm 40 now, I used to work in a Library but now I am a stay at home mum. I live with my partner and little boy and we are all obsessed by video games.
I love art and creating art, I also like to knit, sew, embroider, read and collect things.
I especially like to collect anything to do with Unicorns, Faeries and Foxes.

I'm not that great at Manga drawing. I think i'm ok at regular drawing but there are lots of things I can't draw. I can't really draw backgrounds either but I'm learning! I like working in pencils and markers... I'm terrible at colouring in with paint programs...but it's all a learning experience so I hope to get better.

Hey, I just saw a correspondence you had with drachenmagier in the comment section of one of his works; you mentioned that you wanted to try acrylic but do use watercolour already. I would like to suggest you try gouache. It's like the love-child between acrylic and watercolour and I find it a lot of fun. The cool thing is that it dries to be matte and the paint reactivates when you put water on it after it has dried. So you can work it out of the tube as well as from pans like watercolour; on top of this you can somewhat lift it off the paper if you happened to make a mistake.
I hope that I've sparked your interest; I had not heard about gouache at all until this very year and since then often wondered why nobody ever told me about it

the way you describe it, it sounds ideal. I like the idea that you can lift it off when you make mistakes as i seem to do them a lot, I'm always fixing something
You have definitely sparked my interest, I think I will buy a small inexpensive set of the gouache next week. At the moment I've got some acrylics and am planning on combining them with watercolour for an updated project I'm starting soon.
Can you recommend a good brand?

If you haven't bought gouache yet, I can recommend Talens or Lukas starter packs with primary colours, black, and white. If you end up liking the medium, Schmincke makes exceptionally good gouache, because as one of the very few brands they treat it as an artist's medium instead of a designer's medium.

Thanks for the brand recommendation I haven't seen those brands but will continue to look out for them. I managed to get some Watercolours. I'm still looking out for the gouache, I'll have to wait until my next trip to London, as none of the shops in my town have them. Months ago when I didn't know what it was like they had stacks of the stuff
I've done a Watercolour and Acrylic version of Bucky from Avengers Watercolour on the left , Acrylic on the right. If I get Gouache paints I'll probably do another one

I love the watercolour version you did! The colours are so vibrant and beautiful! Also the dynamic is better; the darks are darker, the brights brighter.

I knew a llama once. At least I thought I knew him. I mean, how well can anyone really know anyone, much less a llama. With their air of mystery and thinly veiled contempt. It’s hard. But I digress.
His name was Kevin. But for reasons I will never understand, he would only ever answer to Albert. Identity issues aside, things started out okay. The usual introductory sniffing and sneezing went well, despite his allergies, but then things started going downhill during the ritual licking phase of the pleasantries. We pushed through. And had it not been for the spitting, we might have even been able to make it work, but alas, after just 3 seconds of bittersweet brotherhood, we finally decided to part ways. It’s kind of sad, when you think about it. Spitting seems like such an innocent thing to fight over, but he was pretty adamant that I should stop and that was just never going to happen. We might have overcome that issue, but Kevin, like all llamas, was very competitive. First came the stench competitions. Then it was belching contests. And lastly, a painstaking count to see which one was hairier. You can clearly see why our relationship was doomed. The poor fellow was a bit of a sore loser.
So he snuck out, taking with him a failed friendship, an obliviously optimistic dread of the future, and my sixth favorite toothbrush. Now that he is gone, I can honestly say, it's for the best. He was too much of a chick magnet anyway and who needs that drama?

Yay! I played that game so much... I wasn't so keen on the 3rd one Dark Dawn - but some of the puzzles were fun and it looks like there will be yet another sequel (quadrequel? lol)
