Good day good lady. Regarding the awesomeness that is your Damascus-to-be cosplay, just wanted to ask what materials are being used and how much it's gonna cost or has already cost, and if possible are there any cheaper replacements? Having attempted to make the Bnahabra blademaster set and failed, I'm looking to make something else, like Ludroth Gunner or just a military-style armour and was hoping for any tips you might have

well if you're working with non cloth armor like the Damascus and the Ranguro Armor.... EVA Foam is hella expensive ;_; also when you're buying 6mm foam paper too
Like a 4 pack EVA foam mat boards cost me $25 bucks each time I buy it. And me and my boyfriend went through 2-3 each. Not to mention the cans of spray paint and watered down glue that you need to paint lol, which would be $6 bucks per can. And the Woes of then finding out that the certain color you were using each time you heat set, mold, glue wash, then paint each piece of armor, each time.
BUT If all else, I rather stick to Cloth. MUCH more cheaper to use lol =¬='
There are newer things that people are playing around with. Like Worbla. It's like wonderflex but made in Germany. I've been eyeing it and I really want to try it out. It comes in different sizes and the great thing about it is that the scraps that you have, you can heat gun it into a ball and flatten it into a sheet for reuse, unlike foam.... :sobs: all those extra foam :sobs:
