Yeah me too! I'm such a huge fan it's weird that I didn't draw more stuff by now! I think I just overcame that fanart phase and now I want to draw my own stuff...the problem is the stuff I want to draw is all over the place xD I don't have a thing I draw better then another...maybe I should get back to fanart and see if I can get my shit together LOL

Yeah, I think I overcome the fanart phase as well, because I more like to draw my original stuff now ;D (and it's probably why I get less faves, comments and watchers now lol, because people prefer to see fanarts more than original stuff which is sad :c). Sometimes I still feel like drawing fanarts but I think that drawing own stuff is somehow more fun?

I couldn't agree more! When I draw fanart I feel like I'm stealing the show's idea somehow, even though the style or pose or whatever are completely original! But I guess one of the reasons why people prefer fanart is because they're more attached to it emotionally, while with ocs they need to take the time to know them better and getting that emotional connection...but you see even though we might feel like now fanart "sells" more I think that in the long run people will start to appreciate our dedication and passion for original drawings
