I definitely do.  I grew up next to the Zurich airport

Living in Perth now about 60 km away from the airport, so I don't get to see too many planes these days.  And Perth is really a provincial airport, there's only a handful of international airlines...

Good to hear! Zurich is one of the airports i would love to visit, and not only because of that ground-tour I am located near Rotterdam Airport, but usually go to Amsterdam 'Schiphol' Airport. just love the variaty of airplanes there Isn't perth a pain-in-the-ass, due to heat-haze?

Yeah Zurich is a nice airport.  I would love to go on the re-opened viewing area on top of what used to be the B gates (not sure what they call them now).

No, Perth is quite nice.  I am not sure where you get the impression from that there is lots of haze, in winter when there are lots of wood heaters running it may get a bit hazy, but it is rare.  There may be haze from bush fires, but they would be quite localised.  As for the heat, yes in summmer it will reach the high 30s, but it usually is a dry heat, so it is not too bad.  Most afternoons and evenings we get westerly winds (the Fremantle doctor) which cool the air down quite a bit.  And then there is always the airconditioner in the office, car, shopping center, cinema and at home  And if on a summer weekend you don't go and enjoy the nice weather it doesn't matter because next weekend will be just as great
