I found some of your poems in the back of my devWatch and I was like "holy shit". I love it (The Rape of Andromeda is amazing). And I find interesting your disdain for modern day DeviantArt.
Frankly, I agree. I disappeared for awhile, came back to find something entirely different. Though I've been drawing more and more lately I'm not even motivated to post anything on here. For what? There are only a few artists that get much feedback anyway, and it's usually "OMG SO CUTE" to some clichΓ©d fanart or some closeup photo of their cat. Wtf.

Oh wow, thanks so much for this comment, old friend. I'm harsh on DA now because because it's become a medium tailor made for anime fanart or some other hipster photography garbage. It's not even a good place for serious artist either (this gray background, for example, makes NO sense. There is a reason why art galleries have white walls.) It's especially not a good place for writers or poets anymore, and I've come to terms with that.
I use this page mainly as an archive and chronicle of my work. I don't expect feedback, but when it comes it is greatly appreciated. I'm very happy you liked my Andromeda poem :]But did you truly understand it? I wonder. It has 3 meanings!
I'll stop by your page soon and give you some feedback as well.
