No problem! And thanks!
Although those are only the two I have doodled, while the rest are commissioned by me including my latest submission that I uploaded from a raffle I have participated and won, which is a prize drawing of my dragon character.
However, I will upload more of my own traditional drawings soon. I've also been thinking of getting into digital along the lines. But I wish to exercise my traditional drawing skills first

Yeah, I noticed
I'm looking forward to see that what you will post
Speaking of digital art, I have heard Krita should be the best free drawing program out there. I thought you might like to know for when you want to start doing that

Of course
And Krita, huh? I'll look into that. Thank you! But sadly I don't have a tablet yet. But I'll be sure to check it out and what interesting features and such I can find here

Gold-Horned-Alpha In reply to LadonKai [2017-12-17 00:27:30 +0000 UTC]
You don't need a tablet to do digital art. I didn't have one either when I started doing that
Krita should have a lot of tools that also exist in paid programs such as Photoshop and Paint Tool SAI, but it is of course not as good as those programs.
It is an excellent starting point though

Ah, I see. I managed to install Krita and I have to say, it's really not so shabby by the way everything looks, and this should be a perfect opportunity to start my digital drawing stuff, at least to say getting back to it.
Although to tell you the truth, I have done one digital work only once before, and that was only on Gimp. Used to have it installed on my old laptop that I used to have a long time ago. The only thing I ever achieved is by using my sketch of my dragon character that I took a picture of, and imported it to Gimp. I used the line art segment and colored the rest. This is actually the one I'm talking about:

Not bad, but yeah, I know it could've looked better. But it was a good start regardless, and I wish I could have continue more. I've been more focused doing traditional drawings instead

That's awesome
The drawing you made with Gimp looks pretty nice with all things considered.
It's a pretty good technique for making digital art without a tablet
There's also another one that I used before I got a tablet, where I would sort of render a traditional drawing in to a digital one.
I can show you how if you want
I started out with Gimp too before I switched to photoshop.
It was pretty good at the time, but sadly Gimp never really received and updates or improvements since then.
Gimp is pretty terribly by modern standards and I think that's a shame

LadonKai In reply to Gold-Horned-Alpha [2017-12-25 10:30:23 +0000 UTC]
Thanks! And yeah, that's unfortunately the case and true of that. I don't expect any improvements for Gimp anytime soon. Still, Gimp is basically good for starters anyway
What is that software that mentioned that you can render a traditional into digital? I'd love to check that out
π: 0 β©: 1
Gold-Horned-Alpha In reply to LadonKai [2017-12-25 11:25:19 +0000 UTC]
True. Using Gimp gave me quite a head start once I switched to photoshop
You can render a drawing with any drawing software that supports a layer option and a blend mode option for said layers.
I personally use photoshop, but you should be able to do this in krita as well
What you're going for it to essentially color the traditional drawing in a digitally, which also makes it possible to add extra shading/ lighting on your drawing

I do apologize for not responding due to my inactivity. Been spending time with my folks and I won't be online much due to New Year's day
Now back to the subject, that sounds like an achievement and I believe I should be able to do this with no problem once I get the hang of it. I thank you for recommending this to me. I should go to Krita and definitely see what to do since I'm now getting back into drawing
