Mmmm. Batchic mah dear... you're deviously quiet. Another whole year has gone by. I'm just back AGAIN from Ireland (how many times can I say that) and my goodness, the various truths and mistruths are galloping around and about over there, and here. It's all a wonder to behold.
Been showing your Bridget drawings and writings to a VERY select few (they must be quite good people) and they are all amazed, and grateful.

Hey Batchic - yer baaack. How great. I'm just back again from Ireland - also great - reading Lady Gregory, finding more ancient treasures and stories hidden in the hills (and my goodness, they really ARE there). Pictures soon to come... if I can figure out a way to display them.

Great that you will be enrolling in college~ an experience you will never regret.
Our little apple tree is so laden with little green apples this year. Made some applesauce this morning, and planning on creating some apple jelly and apple pie pretty darn soon. Just now another apple just fell kerplop. The apple barrel is getting rather full . . .

Lovely to hear about the apple tree, i had one in my garden when i was younger, only they were cox apples and were so bitter i couldnt eat them! Each year my dad told me they would get sweeter... but they never did!

How could anyone ever regret college? For me, these are some of my most cherished memories.
But then, I love to read, research information, and write. I guess all three go hand in hand in college.
Ummm . . .my interview went well, but I am still waiting confirmation/paperwork etc. Processing!
I am not certain of the type of apples we have on our property . . . but they are rather small; the mature tree is not sprayed (natural!) and then, when they ripen they turn golden yellow. I am able to use them in apple sauce and pies and cakes, sweetened . . . and are excellent for Wild Apple Jelly due to the natural high pectin levels in the unripe fruit. Right now, though, my side entrance pathway is laden with them! Random windfall apples . . . they keep me busy!

As you travel out of my small town towards the countryside, you will find a local businessman who has llamas in his fields, instead of cows or horses. He brings them to special events, sometimes, dressed up with brightly coloured kerchiefs/woven ribbons and bells around their necks.
