# About me
I am a sculptor/painter born in New Orleans and raised in Massachusetts. I love duality, light and dark, life and death, beauty and repulsion. I reinvent my beliefs every day, and explore my dreams and nightmares through my art. To me art is a self portrait and a mirror to be held up to the audience. It is a door an artist takes to oneself, as well as a filter the world finds itself through.Current Residence: Pawtucket, Rhode Island

I tend to gush praise a little too easily, but when I look upon your work, I am genuinely moved to meekness. I have seldom seen technical mastery and creativity--artisan and artist--so well combined. I have been a fan of the work of H. P. Lovecraft and his circle since I was seven years old--more than forty years, now. Too often, when I have seen art that was inspired by Lovecraft's writing, it is soundly disappointing and tritely conventional, but in the examples you have shared, I see something that approaches, even crosses, that magical threshold where willing suspension of disbelief occurs and I feel the worrisome tickling of strange, non-Euclidean worlds on my senses. There is no disappointment here, only unholy, unspeakable joy.

I have been a visual artist for a long time, and a fan of the Mythos since Re-animator introduced me to the actual books. Browsing on this site I found Jason McKittrick of Cryptocryptorium, and felt the same wonder and suspension of disbelief that you feel. He took the level of detail and creativity to a level far beyond the tentacles. I did a lot of tabletop Call of Cthulhu in college, and loved to create stories to run that tiptoed around the stories, but didn't retell them. The possibilities of Lovecraft's world, and the devilish details opened the door to so many dark vignettes. I like to look at "real" stories of earths mysteries and view them through the prism of the Mythos. I am so glad when people get it, and allow themselves to believe for a second. Your joy brings me joy.

Love all of your work, but I have a soft spot for the Mythos stuff.

I did something like that in my Rings commission. I'd love to do something bigger.
