lol if I wanna combaine a lot of characters in one picture i usually look for ideas in Artbooks! try to think of a seriese you like (if you like Anime\manga it is very easy to find) and look at the pictures in the artbook <:
~if you dont know what is artbook- a book that the creator of the seriese made with just random poses and characters and designs for the fans to drool at XDDD
my favorite artbook is Pandora Hearts, the poses and the designs inspires me, tell me if you need a link ^^)
