Umm, haha i'm not sure what kind of advice to give~ hmm but if it's about the make up, it's very different from daily make up! you can watch cosplay make up videos or play around with make up too~ then create or try to find your own style of make up~

Look at the top where U see the SEARCH bar..
You see "Deviant ~Loving-Tea" there should be a little down arrow there.
Put your mouse over that arrow and then click at "Setting"
On the right column you should see "Public" in bold..
Click at "Identity" right under that..
..and you can change your avatar here..

You submit a picture just like you regularly do
BUT! The category is different..it should be under:
deviantART related > deviantID

After that. Go to your home page and find where your deviantID
column is.
Then just press the EDIT button that's on that column and
the rest is a breeze :3
