I know evolution is a bit of controversial issue these days. Many people believe it, some people don’t. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. As for me, I believe, but looking around I can see why some people have doubts. For example, just the other day I was walking down the street and I came across a display of such reckless disregard for living that I had to wonder why, after millions of years of evolutionary rejects and genetic dead ends, that this specimen happened to be the culmination of his respective ancestry. Let me paint you a picture. 
Standing in a wading pool filled with eclectic eels (they taste funny), situated on a craned in platform dangling 10 feet above a gridlocked freeway, was an inappropriately cheerful fellow sporting a wet-suit and a tutu and who was juggling 5 half empty paint cans and highland mountain goat, while precariously balancing 7 unlit cigarettes on his left eyebrow. Joining him on the platform were three short-sighted economists on miniature mopeds, with flaming chainsaws strapped to their foreheads who appeared to be engaged in a senselessly violent game of sudden death bingo. 
Never have a seen such a flagrant lack of survival instincts. Thousands of people die from cigarettes every day. Everyone knows, cigarettes kill people, it’s an indisputable fact. So why would you put yourself at risk. Here is a guy for which evolution has obviously failed and I say it’s time evolution got a helping hand. Who’s with me?

Thanks for the fav on I was just polishing the ol' lamp...

But nothing like this has ever popped out. And this isn’t the first one I tried either. I’ve tried all sorts. Oil lamps, electric lamps, gold lamps, wooden lamps, lamp posts, lamp shades, I even polished the bald spot on a guy named Lampwick, who was a bit of an ass about it actually. But nothing. No genie, djinn or efrit of any shape, size or gender identity. The best I’ve ever managed was a sad little accountant named Ralph, who, for reasons he never shared, found himself stuck inside the lamp room of an abandoned lighthouse.

I know, I know, I need to be practical about this. As far as lamps go, it’s a numbers game and the odds aren’t in my favour. So maybe I need to change my approach to this whole wish business.

You find leprechauns in Ireland, right?

Continuing where you left off, we come to the great aardvark uprising. After the enforced enslavement by the Hive Queen Sally, the Varkians rose up, and anointed their rebel leader with the traditional urine dance. While this dance has a strong spiritual significance, I don’t think the details are pertinent. Let’s just say, there were people, there was urine, and there was dancing, enough said. As an interesting side note, while all this was going on, a young potplant was secretly planning how best to conquer France. But for more details on that you should consult Prof.  Earlinwe, who has a much better understanding of French shrubbery oppression than I.

Now, after the Varkians Confederation collectively fell over, all thanks to a particularly tasteless hallway carpet, it was time for a new player to fill the power vacuum. Can anyone tell me who that might’ve been?

Seriously keep back. That is Mexican man eating grass. It doesn’t eat women but still, they should keep your distance as well, it’s grass after all and its ability to distinguish by gender is hardly something I would want to test.

I know what you’re thinking, why would anyone want carnivorous grass, well I would have thought that was obvious. Pest control. That little schnauzer down the street keeps making deposits and I’ve tried everything. Razor wire, electric fence, land dwelling piranha, but nothing. 
And it looks like this isn’t gonna do it either. Turns out, bloody grass doesn’t have a taste for dog. Cats, fine, the 3 neighbor kids from 213, no trouble, but one little pooch, nothing. I’d have removed but it’s kind of difficult to get close, I mean I lost 3 toes already just laying the damn stuff. I think I’m going to have to move.
