Hello fellow dragon artist!
I decided it was about time to let everyone on the new Dragon Artists List know they are on there.
Its not a club and doesn't require you to do anything, its just an A-Z listing of deviantART members who create dragons. If you wish to be removed, just let me know and I'll take you off. If you have friends who want to be added, tell them to send me a comment or note

Ah-ha, I think you might be pretty cool. I saw your siggy while randomly scrolling down the comments page of an Indana Jones fanarat 9where he was a German Shepherd talking to Elsa, another dog), and I saw the quote. Jeremy Brett--didn't he play Sherlock Holmes or am I thinking of someone elsE?
And wither way, I can see you're a Lackadaisy Cats fan. *high fives* Woot!

Man-Behind-The-Mask [2008-11-07 20:35:18 +0000 UTC]
I put on my happiest mask when I look at your art, Madame. It shows not only a love of the fullest purity and sincerity for Erik, but also a creativity to go to lengths of understanding for him most do not dare to go...far too deep beneath the theatre for most
I hope you continue to show greater and greater levels of love, and creativity in your art, as I will show in my enjoyment, and responses to them.
Ahh, yes...and on a side note, Jeremy Brett is perhaps my favorite actor of all time. *Chuckles* To Mr. Brett, is to know true taste, dear Madame.
Aufwiedersehen,

Thank you so very much for your kind comments! I am greatly flattered and pleased that you appreciate my interpretations of Erik. I admit I have been neglecting my art slightly of late due to other commitments, but rest assured my love of art and Phantom shall never diminish.
And yes, dear Jeremy is perhaps one of the greatest and most endearing actors of our time (and sorely underappreciated).

Indeed he certainly is. Have you seen the series of Sherlock Holmes adventures he starred in? I am quite fond of them.

I ADORE the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes series, though I admit it gets a bit difficult to watch him during the later series and films (Casebook, Memoirs, etc) because of how old and ill he looks. Poor man was going through all sorts of psychological and physiological problems at the time, but still gave his all in the performance of a lifetime. *raises a glass to the inimitable Mr. Brett*

Man-Behind-The-Mask In reply to MadameGiry [2008-12-06 02:59:02 +0000 UTC]
Oh ja, they are certainly are a bit hard to watch...but, I do like how Mycroft's character develops. I started watching the original series when I was about 7, before I had finished reading the Holmes cannon in full...and my mother made the mistake of purchasing "The Final Problem" without reading much about the plot. We watched it together, and by the time the credits were rolling, with our poor hero tumbling down the Reichenbach Falls, my jaw was through the floor. I stopped talking to her for a week, but, then she bought me the Disney version of Basil, the Great Mouse Detective...so I thought it was only fair to forgive her
*clinks glasses with you* Cheers to quintessential Holmes, Mr. Brett.
