Demos. Hmm... I only know a few things about what I've seen, but pretty much all I know about it is awesome stuff. Fierce Deity Link palette (never played MM, but still a great choice), White Charizard, Fire Rosalina, Meta Knight-coloured Kirby, and Alph being an alt and not a clone, all awesome. Fox's Wolf palette, not so much.

Also did you hear on Neogaf about some Nintendo of France employee accidentally confirming Chorus Men on Twitter? Or was that just a dud?

Heh, actually haven't played Xenoblade Chronicles.

That Gaur Plains stage looks awesome. I'm not too fussed on Shulk himself, but at  least his fans got what they wanted. Also, his artwork confirms the leak.

Hey, haven't talked to you since Abbott got elected. We should talk more often.

Well, I'm optimistic so far. I didn't see any modern-SpongeBob sort of humour and SpongeBob seems to have his old personality and voice back. Plus Sandy isn't an extra like last time. I'm a little mixed on the CGI (it looks good, but I liked the Roger Rabbit effect the first movie had), especially the superhero thing, but we'll see how it goes.

Yeah, the 2D in the first movie was great and I'd love to see more of it, but at least they're not half-arsing it. And as for the superhero bit, well, they did it way back in The Fry Cook Games, sort of.

Well yeah, Spongey's been like that before, but the context was a bit different. It could work out, but it sorta reminds me of the awful Garfield movie where they became superheroes.

Well just have to wait and see. I did like the bit with Patrick's power though.

Well I'm not mad about it like I thought I'd be. And I'm glad he's based off Classic Pac-Man instead of Modern Pac-Man.  He does some moves I didn't expect (Fire Hydrant), but he's still sorta meh. Maybe they can use a different Namco rep in the next game, and then the next. Like some sort of rotation.

Palutena. Yep, cool. Expected, but great. Her trailer being animated was also cool.

And what they did with Miis. I wasn't expecting that.

I know. There were perfect opportunities to get shoo-ins like Yoshi or Wario out of the way, but nope. Hopefully he'll reveal a bunch of vets in the E3 trailer.

I don't think he'll troll on April Fools. When it was back in the Brawl days, the update for the Dojo on April 1st was the Pirate Ship stage.

Ahh, so I was. I was meaning to check out the prediction comment again.

So what do you think? Although I wanted him back (even though I never play as him), I wasn't too hyped. Maybe it's because I knew he was getting revealed so it wasn't as surprising. Or maybe it was because I went on GameFAQs ten minutes before the supposed reveal and when I went on a thread about the boxing ring stage having the old design there was a link with the name "diddy_kong" as part of it, so when I went on the site I knew he would be there.

I'm glad he's not a tag-team character though.

Well, as a big Diddy Kong player back in Brawl, I'm happy to see buff's for him. (Despite the fact that he's considered High-Tier). Also happy to see hus bananas are back, one of my favorite items in Brawl. I also thought that a Zelda-Shiek method would work better if Diddy and Dixie were a tag team. (Have one throw a barrel that has the other come out, and cause the other one to dissapear.)

Yeah, I guess that works. I just wasn't keen on Diddy losing his independence or having a big change like that. Diddy's been in plenty of games without Dixie, so I feel it doesn't do him justice IMO.

Any, if they still want to rep the DJKC tag-team system in someway, they could always make Dixie and Kiddy team-up.

Back? He's a newcomer silly.

I kid, of course. I saw the direct live at TAFE this morning (9 AM is a bad time to post a livestream). When I got on, it was loading, and I didn't know it had already started, and the first image I saw was of Little Mac beating up people. My jaw dropped. I only saw the last 20 seconds of his reveal live though, but I saw it again in full shortly after. The direct was laggy so I missed most of it, but I watched it again at home. Sadly, pretty much no-one in my TAFE course cares about Smash except for one other person, so I couldn't express my hype to people who cared.

But anyway, he's awesome and he deserved to be in the game. I've never played Punch-Out, but me being excited for him just proves how good his reveal was. His series logo is a bit iffy (would have preferred a side-on glove), but other than that, Pure Awesome.
