Was torn between Pixie and Mystic! Chose Pixie because it seemed likely once he's told the name of the style, he'd call her that. It'd more than likely be an inside joke to anyone that wasn't around and that would probably just make it all the more hilarious to him.Β

Yes, I did have a good time.
There were just SO many people and family requiring my presence was replaced with friends around the New Year so I was exhausted over the long weekends I was given. Me and my introverted self have recovered a little and should be back to normal soon.

I can see how that is stressfull, there weren't even that many people with us at christmas, but my brother brought his new girfriend, and it all become such hard work.
That is why I celebrated new year with just one friend, on her couch watching youtube vids.
Good luck recovering, I always need time to recharge after such events.

It was especially bad for me over x-mas because I was at my (step)brother's wife's mom's house so I only knew 3 of the like 12 people there. Thankfully they're all really friendly people and her mom cooks really well so that was a tasty x-mas eve dinner and tastier x-mas day lunch. :3
My cousin also invited me out tomorrow and since it's with his gf that I really like and we don't really hang out much I'd feel like a dick saying no to him. xD So... no full rest weekend for me when it comes to people. xDDDD
Your celebration of New Years sounds like a good idea to me. I was playing Fallout 4 and just happened to notice that it was midnight and paused for a second to do 'jazz hands' and say "woo! New Year!" before immediately returning to my game.

Can't have the yummy food without the people. I always feel, that even though I think the people are nice and even when I am enjoying myself that it drains me so much.
Hmm, not so much time to recharg than But I hope you will have a good time.
Yours doesn't sound to bad either. I think I saw a meme like that on tumblr the other day *hihi*
Oh I haven't played Fallout 4 in a long while.

Huh. I mean, I guess the two are tied together anyway. I can't cook well on my own. I can do basic stuff like noodles and baking/frying fish but that's about it. xD
Nope. But hopefully we won't be out the majority of the day. I'll find out in a few hours.
Yep! It's this one:
Gaming Over New Years Meme
I picked it back up and was playing the DLC for Far Harbor. Pretty neat story here. I really liked the story for the game overall so it shouldn't have surprised me that the writing for the DLC was good.

I love trying new things, I follow a few cookin blogs and from time to time and test something new.
OOOooooh yes there is the wonderfully true meme
Yeah the dlc was pretty nice Have you played the cola thingy DLC as well?

It can be fun. I'm slowly getting better at not be paralyzed with doubt when trying new things...
I don't think I've played the Nuka-World DLC but that's probably partially due to the fact that it's about raiders. xD I'd prefer killing them rather than helping take over the Commonwealth. xDDD
I'll have to look and see weather I even have it or not, honestly. I think I do 'cause I can make raider stuff in my outposts, though.

I'm glad to hear that
yeah, I didn't like that either, but I wanted to do the story at least once. and I did like the beginning of the dlc. a bit weird at first but my playthrough is really me doing things I never thought I would.
Oh, but you finished the main story line? whom did you pic at the end?

I picked the Institution. But I wanted to have them interact with the surface. I was gonna change that place. MAJORLY.
I'll have to try that out and see what's up with it, then. Sounds interesting at the very least.
I did go all the way through the quest-line for Brotherhood of Steel at one point and was THRILLED with that ending 'cause I got to wipe them all out and take down their weapon. Poor Danze. I have always been wary of military-style governance and the BoS always had me giving major side-eye during the game.

StreuneKatze In reply to Maiden-of-Wolves [2018-01-09 21:18:26 +0000 UTC]
Also chose the institute, I think I also wanted to change them somewhat, don't remember. But what I really liked is that when I start the game I never thought I would end up making that choice.
I usually end up playing games like that so many hours because I want to try almost anything. (on skyrim I have 283h and on fallout only 133, but that is noting compared to dragon age inqusition with.... 800h ehm and 220 on mass effect andromeda)
Oh yeah I'm with you on the brotherhood of steel, I think I liked the ehm, those you meet at the beginning, that make you build settlings and all that.

Maiden-of-Wolves In reply to StreuneKatze [2018-01-13 17:39:29 +0000 UTC]
Well, to be fair, at the START of the game, you have no idea the Institute even exists. xDDDD
But, yeah, I love the Minutemen and I do everything I possibly can for the people. Plus, Preston Garvey is the sweetest person in the entire game so that helps a lot.
The sheer amount of hours I have in games is honestly almost embarrassing.
Steam has me logged at over 2,000 hours for Rimworld alone and I've only had that game for about a year; almost 2,000 hours for ARK: Survival Evolved but I've had that for multiple years; approaching 900 hours in Project Zomboid; almost 800 hours in Skyrim; around 500 hours for Banished; a little over 300 hours for Prison Architect; about 270 hours in Dragon Age: Origins.
And that's just Steam. I probably have at least 500 hours in Dragon Age: Inquisition via Origin client and at least 200 hours of Dragon Age 2... probably closer to 400 hours in the Sims 4 as well.
To be fair, you can probably half that because I often leave games running overnight.
...but, still. Yeah. You can see why I don't draw as much as I should.
