I've been drawing since the age of six and it is one of my strongest passions as well as gaming. I like to visit with friends and play Magic the Gathering as well. I worked at walmart for awhile, finished highschool and attended Art Design in college. In my free time I practice digital art, play video games sometimes, read books and listen to music.

Dark Cloud 2 and Secret of Mana? Β

Dark Cloud 2 wasn't really much of a popular game. It deserves more credit than it got. Dark Cloud 2 really was a solid title, being that Level 5 has been good to me, I considered buying Rogue Galaxy. Great game so far, and I've played Secret of Mana so many times over I know everything about it including how to get the Mana Sword.

Well Hello there, this is Lomionther. I checked your art and i must admit it was unique. You definitely have your own style. What you can do now is to evolve it. upgrade your skills. (study anatomy of your figures for example, in order to achieve natural poses) Also, you should practice more in coloring in my opinion. At this moment the colors you apply cover the outline and the basic structure of the figure.As a result, the figure loses its shape and motion.
You may not have insane skills, but (you might call me crazy) i see passion in your works, you seem to enjoy what you are doing.
Keep practicing, the best advice of all. Find another artist similar to your style of drawing and try to learn from him.

Yeah, I know. The pictures I draw do lose shape and motion from my colors. I'm actually glad you pointed that out. I've studied anatomy for a long time, I always thought I had that down packed, but yeah I suppose it needs some work. Thanks for the tips, and much appreciated for taking time looking at my gallery too.

You know what. Chill. I'm giving an honest critique, that's what everyone deserves for each piece of artwork they put out, I'm just saying that the heartless does not look like a heartless. Simple as that, I've seen better works that get far less comments than the 200 comments of whatever it was, was called. In fact if you've been paying attention I gave her an HONEST praising critique with another drawing she did that was far better than the one of the so called heartless.
What irks me about you is the fact that I wasn't even hating. And I was being NICE. I told her my opinion in a NON-deragatory way. Telling someone that their art work looks like a school kid's drawing is not being MEAN. I'm stating what I think in a tactful manner.
And if you paid attention I did say she put effort into it. You really should stay out of other people's critiques. If you can't accept criticism you're not a good artist anyways *shrug*. So that's all I have to say about that mate.
And she does have a very vivid imagination to make up the story behind it thank you very much. I'm a nice guy, so please quit telling me to be nice when I already am...okay thank you, lets move on.

You're being childish. People deserve honest reviews. I'm not apologizing for my honest opinion and neither does anyone else. Whether I get good reviews or bad it's for the best.
Seriously? Poopy? You're seriously a little kid, and if you get butt hurt with every negative comment that comes your way you seriously need to grow up.
Nobody should ever have to apologize for their true opinions about people's artwork. Fair is fair, you have to be mature enough to understand that.
You realize that musicians, cooks and film directors all take criticsm. Game developers take criticsm. I'm sure as hell you had something negative to say about something someone did as well...
There's a difference from being mean and being honest. And I'm just the later. Do you think it's fair that I tell her, her heartless is great when "I" think it's not, rather than tell her it's good when I don't? Sorry, I'm not that type of guy. Maybe other people are but I'm not.
I've seen better pictures that she has done other than that heartless, which looks like a moomba. End of story.

Yeah np, even though it was greyscale it felt of that subtle essence when that guy was on the sea. Hard to explain, but your greyscale does it very well.

Some pictures work better with greyscale. Sometimes a lot of color can ruin a portrait. One of mine I think could have stayed greyscale, but oh well.
