Favorite bands / musical artists: You can never go wrong with the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkle, B.B. King, Neil Sedaka, Neil Diamond, Gloria Estefan, Smashmouth and most of the famous jazz/blues artists from 1920 to 1970. Oingo Boingo has a few that aren't bad.
Favorite books: The whole "Ender" series, the "Thrawn/Heir to the Empire" trilogy, "Team Yankee", "Flight of the Old Dog", "Ambush At Osirak", most any non-fiction about the history of warfare and military tech of any age.. many more... see below..
Favorite writers: Many, many... then basically none. I used to read voraciously, then I thought that I'd use a Nook, because it wouldn't take up space on my shelves. I bought one for $99 ...and basically haven't read anything since. It's just not the same.
Favorite games: Sid Meier's Pirates!, the Bard's Tale Trilogy (Defeated!), Madden 24, SimCity (x), Civilization (x), Tropico (x), Star Wars: Rebellion, Goat Simulator, Harpoon, Star Wars: X-Wing & TIE Fighter
Favorite gaming platform: Xbox Series X
Tools of the Trade: Windows 11 Victus by HP Gaming Laptop with 32GB of RAM and a dedicated Nvidia graphics card with 4GB of VRAM - makes AI rendering very slow! Apparently it's difficult or impossible to cram more than 6GM of VRAM onto a laptop; who knew?
Other Interests: Cross-stitching, 1/48 scale military plastic models, writing, target shooting, sit on top (SOT) kayaking
