A passionate photographer, I have played in this space for nearly 25 years. My first encounter was the Photography club at high school, it was more of a social encounter rather than a pursuit of photography.
As life evolved and different activities attracted my attention photography was always in the background but not a priority. My passion took a turn when my first child was born and a desire to capture her growing in the best possible format was paramount.
This endeavour rekindled and enlightened the right side of my brain and you will see the results of this adventure in my gallery. It’s only the beginning as I strive to learn by experimenting with light and the tools at hand.

Hi Mark, I just spent the last hour watching your gallery. The colors in your waterscapes are amazing. It's nice that you give information about the shots' location as well as your camera settings (even if I don't understand most of them ^^, but I'm sure it's helpful for others photographers). Usually I only browse in the digital painting section, but I saw one of your waterscape in the side panel next to a deviation. Then I clicked to saw it in a higher resolution because those nice colors draw my attention and I couldn't help but watch all your gallery

To run a contest in 2 categories, Photography and Photomanipulation, with the theme "LIGHTs".
What do I want to see?
Anything related to light: it can be a candle, a fireplace, a rainbow, a strange glow, sun rays, xmas lights, dim light or bright light (but, please photographers, don't photograph the sun!: you'll ruin your camera, your eyes and ours!).
