I also noticed on your forum profile you mentioned being a believer. That's awesome! I rarely run into people of like faith in all these art circles I run around it

Sorry for the crappy late reply! I'm actually a little more active on my other DA account (the gallery name for that one is just Meadowknight, and I have a wider variety of stuff on it) .  I'm glad my tips on the forum have been helpful ! It took a lot of tedium to learn this stuff...so I like it when I can give people a shortcut to save them some time and energy. 

You're a Christian too?! That's great ! Yeah unfortunately...a lot of artistic crowds, seem to lean towards pagan beliefs or atheism...and to some extent idolize their art, or whatever they're collecting. Everyone holds something highest, even non-Christians...they just might hold being an artist in place of God, or their world revolves around their passions/interests (toys, lol, other humans, material objects, career, hobbies). Christians seem to be the minority, ESPECIALLY in film...when I was at the FX shop I think I was the only Christian there . That industry is soaked in greed, and there's a lot of smut, so i think it turns a lot of Christians away as a career choice. All I know, is when I don't have enough Jesus in my life...things don't go well,or feel right, lol. It's great He calls us back when we get too distracted though! I think so many people get caught up in the day to day, and what the "world" places value in (vanity, pride, power, and material things mainly), they get really distracted...and don't think about the big picture, they forget all of those things DIE, the only thing eternal is God, and our souls...we're going to exist forever with God or seperated. And soooo many people disbelieve the bible simply because it's a book, or simply because it's an OLD book....but each person has to read it for themselves with an open mind and the truth just begins to unravel. It's a truly amazing, REAL book...and a book is the most universal media on the planet, why wouldn't God teach us that way ? And for people who doubt the bible being true...they have the entire planet, all living creatures, and thye entire universe as proof a God exists, lol. Not only does a creation exist...but it's DESIGNED perfectly. Even science is starting to back up the bible more and more over the years, because through science, God's truth is being decoded...even though we've had the bible already all along, lol. What faith can't prove, science is proving, and before it all ends more people are definitely going to see the truth in various new ways. But yeah, I love chatting about it...so shoot me a note on here or the forum whenever you want, if you need a Christian art buddy to chat with!

If you have Netflicks, I highly recommend checking out a show called "The Daniel Project" if you haven't seen it already! It's a really cool documentary about biblical prophecies that have already come to pass, and are in the process of happening. The show isn't preachy, is not all doom and gloom cheese, lol..and is full of info. For sermons sometimes I listen to Mark Driscoll...but I don't follow his every word since he can be a little opinionated and get a tiny bit off track sometimes, lol...but he's a good speaker in my opinion, no speaker is perfect . But yeah, it is DEFINITELY tough finding Christians in arty crowds unfortunately ...but we exist! lol
