Wow you are a very talented and skilled photographer indeed! I wish I can be that good but my focus is more on drawing, the only good pictures I get are just lucky shots. XD I hope you have a good day and I can't wait to see more from you!!

Martin-Veskilt In reply to emberjewels [2016-11-11 04:31:28 +0000 UTC]
Thank you, but they are all lucky shotsΒ thoughΒ years of being a Deviant Art member has helped me develop an eye for artistic beauty.
Drawing is a much harder skill to perfect than photography and I'm quite awful at it.
Thank you for the compliments.

hey man! I downloaded some pictures in order to use as textures. (of course my use of texture ain't like ... just stick the picture. I try to merge it with the image so it doesn't shows like a real photo... i got many examples at my gallery. So I wanted to know if you could give me permission. if not, i completely understand and it's cool.
Cheers man.

As long as you link to the source with credit for the textures you can do what you wish with them.
Do you mean the unknown ones? Also please link me to the end result, I'd like to see how they mix in.

for example this one. the ground is an image of a dune i got out of google (it was tagged for free use and modifications)... that car it was a car accident... the house... anyways. any of the textures are diformed with warp tool or distort to fit my needs and painted on top. Also color variant and value changes are applied. the end result is something that has nearly nothing to do with the original texture.
It's not like i stick on them and go "ta-daa". no.
So no worries.

No clue how you'd find any use in anything I've made for something like this.

oh it could be anything. jsut adding extra texture will make anything pop up. i could use it even for skin or rocks even. it doesn't matter if it's used only on "plants"

Martin-Veskilt In reply to 000Fesbra000 [2014-10-25 01:37:53 +0000 UTC]
O.o your method sounds... weird. I'd rather use a texture that realisticly corresponds to the item that's being textured.

it doesn't matter. as long as it looks good. let the texture work for you. not the way around.
