Hi.
I really like your cosplay wings, and i saw that you made them by yourself.
I'm going to do a cosplay with wings too (devil jin from tekken), so do you have any tips for me? Something like the materials, the method, the tools.

Biggest tip I can give you: make the wings as lightweight as possible, and make the harness comfortable.
Other than that, it depends on if you're going to have articulated wings or non-moving ones
My feathers are made out of layers of fabric, laminated together with glue, but if I had to redo it i'd pick a different material like craft foam or something. The frame I didn't make myself, it was part of a trade I did with someone, but there's lots of tutorials out there, just google around a bit

I'd like to do articulated wings, do you use a special remote control o it's a simple manual control?

Mine are manual, there's gas struts in the frame to hold it open, but there are tons of tutorials on making simple articulated wings that you can open and close with a string or something like that. If I ever make wings again, I'll make them a lot simpler than the ones I have now. They are too heavy and too complicated

I only do armor commissions, just not a lot, I only take around 2 or 3 a year (if that) since I am a very busy person IRL. And I do ship to the US, it's just not cheap from the Netherlands.
