Thanks, I consider crust as one of most interesting paths of music and art.Β
My all time favourite is probably Dystopia, I just can't get enough of their music. This band is something that KoRn wanted to achieve on their first albums - pure antisocial sound of misery, nihilism, misantrophy and torment.
While KoRn failed their trails of obtaining it, Dystopia had it from the very beginning.
Recently I'm into Axegrinder, Amebix-influenced UK band. They unfortunately released only one LP (called Rise of the Serpent Men), but it's pure magic for sure. Gloomy, moody, doomy, but with a headbangable tempo. You should check it out if you haven't already. These 7 tracks are golden.
I also strongly recommend Homomilitia, crust punk / hc band from my country, Poland. Strongly influenced by Nausea, male-female vocals, lyrics based on anarchy, equality andΒ individualism. Really controversial band, even in the local punk scene (male vocalist, Wojtas, was a declared homo and in mainly conservative and catholic country of Poland even some punks or hc kiddos were against him). They recorded some splits along with Disclose for example, toured UK, Germany and other countries.
Their first LP, Twoje CiaΕo - TwΓ³j WybΓ³r (translation: Your Body - Your Choice) is more traditional crust punk / hardcore with samples of polish TV records.
They had unofficial LP, called Unreleased Sessions, which you can find on YouTube (as well as the first LP). It's much more experimental, harsh sounding, with female growl vocals, more moody and misanthropic. Heavier sound, similar to DOOM, but with more interesting lyrics. Check it out, interesting stuff.

I have the first Homomilitia record, it's awesome. Almost metal drumming, blast-beats and crazy cymbals. Female and male vocals, really good record. Acid Drinkers first few albums are more good Polish stuff.

If you are interested in more polish crust punk then you have to check out Filth of Mankind, one of best bands in the whole "stenchcore" genre. Close to the roots, Amebix / Deviated Instinct style, self called "apocalyptic crust". Pure decadence, misanthropy, and brilliant form of commentary on today's society. Featuring MiΕosz Gassan, founder of later sludge / post-metal Morne.
Also I highly recommend Infekcja, probably most aggressive polish unit from WrocΕaw, compeletely DIY crust grind.

Thanks for the awesome band suggestions.Β I'm also a fan of Dystopia, I have their albums Human equals Garbage and the self titled one.Β I really dig their sound as well as the powerful lyrical content.Β That's one of the main factors I love Crust punk and punk in general.Β There are so many things that are worth getting upset over and fighting for.Β Doom are one of my favorites for this reason.Β Β It seems like Dystopia get at some more of the aftermath of what a shitty government and what our society produces as a result.. Kind of digging deeper into why people are psychologically damaged.Β Lately i've been listening to a lot of Crust and black metal.. Which those two things aren't that far off from each other minus the satanic themes of most black metal, you might like the band, Craft or Peste Noire.Β I recently picked up the new Wolfbrigade, Stormcrow (Portland, OR), Napalm Raid, Nux Vomica, and Hellshock
