It's hard for me to manage everything I'm supposed to be doing in life, but I've managed to enjoy my summer thus far. Work hasn't been extremely hard. It's just getting sick and the large amount of drive time that has made things a little burdensome, but I'm staying at my grandparents, who are closer to worksite and saving half the drive time now. Things are looking up!
I'm glad you had a great day. I wish I could hear that from more of my friends lately. Soft drinks are something, I both miss and hate at the same time. I actually drank some gatorade today. It's been a while. I was kindof in a pinch and needed something to rehydrate myself.

I enjoy the summer, too. Getting back to reviewing stuff and I see people are interested in the group contest. Good to see there are still eager writers out there. Wish I could contribute to the prizes, but sadly I'm low on points and can't offer anything else. Oh well, being judge is going to be a fun new experience. Will get something done at last now that I have the time.
I'm not the type of person into sugar. But I always savour a soft drink and high calorie food when I have something to celebrate. It's my personal reward for hard, successful work. Can't consume too much in one day, though.
My favorite is probably the gym pass. You never know when you need to use your body. XP

I am glad to have seen the influx of writers as well. I really wish that there were more, but I think that we will ultimately have to build this community ourselves. Sonic fanfiction writing hasn't had a very strong base around it, and people tend to write whatever they want, regardless of whether it fits the original theme, or even maintains a G rating. I am hoping that our community can create some stability in that respect. If only we had more time to read each other's stuff. I think that's the real killer in fanfiction writing. Not enough time. XP

Give it time. Most things don't become noticeable until a certain milestone is achieved. Only then do most people see it is popular and worth investing into. Though we must make sure our group has a positive reputation and doesn't fall into mediocrity or worse. Contests tend to spark interest in participation. Combining that with the promotion that comes with such events does at the very least interest some writers enough to take a look at what the group has to offer. I agree that we tend to be short of time, but we are making progress nonetheless even if it's barely visible.
I exercise almost every day now, buddy. I need that training after spending the whole semester reading and writing countless pages for hours. Also gives me a reason to eat more. ^^

It's a component of my own self-esteem. Our history is a prime example of never giving up and unyielding hope, that is what I think. We are generally proud of our nation state in spite of our constant complaints. People from the east tend to be the most conservative and nationalistic, while the western population is more open and moderate because of greater development and investment from the world. We still pursue greater attention on the international arena. Our recent past plays a strong role in the present day. One large problem I have with us is how we tend to accentuate our downsides and overlook spectacular accomplishments. You won't learn many specifics about Poland from me though. I am very mentally different from the common citizen. I feel much better in the Scandinavian countries; it helps that I know Danish and Norwegian. It's common for me to impress people with my linguistic skills.
