Chicken soup sounds good, yummy! I rest up, and drink plenty of fluids usually. I also try to cover up in a nice thick blanket and read to pass the time until I'm better.

Sure!

I took a quick peek at your gallery, and I can see you're trying to improve. That's good! But try not to get hung up on the whole head ratio because it changes all the time based on a variety of factors, such as character age, size, and even art style. If I were you, this is how I'd go about making progress: just keep drawing as much as you can. Search online for skeleton models and major muscle groups, and study them until you have a good understanding of what's going on underneath the skin. That's the best thing you can possibly to for your art. Then, once you have a good grasp on anatomy, you can apply that to the anime style, and everything will become much, much easier.

This isn't the way most people go about learning to draw bodies; most people just go for it and iron out anatomy mistakes as they go along.
But for those people, it can become hard to pinpoint what's wrong with their drawing because they lack basic anatomical knowledge. The essentially become 'blind' to real anatomy and keep making the same mistakes over and over. A truly great artist fully understands the human structure, and then can 'bend' the rules through style in a realistic way, to create a solid appearing character. >w<
