Hey~! 
I use Photoshop Elements. (It's not the full Photoshop.) It's the only program I use, so I don't have a lot of knowledge on other programs. I got it for free when I bought my art tablet. You can always try googling cheep/free art programs and read reviews on them. You might find some good ones that way.

And I'm not sure if you have an art tablet, but if you don't and you want to do a lot of digital art, I would really suggest one. This is the one I use - www.amazon.com/Wacom-Bamboo-Ca… I've had it for several years and it's still working great~!

There are also smaller and cheeper ones that are still very high quality. Here's one - www.amazon.com/Wacom-Intuos-Ta…

For art tablets, Wacom is definitely great brand. And if you get one, they always come with free art programs.

Thanks!! I'll have to keep all of this in mind.

I have been trying to get into more digital art lately so I'm learning which programs work for me, which don't, and what others recommend. I'm also doing some research. I have one of those computers which turns into a tablet which is what I've been using lately. I have used a Wacom bamboo fun (model CTH-461) before too.. That works good as well.

Basically, from what I've seen, the top two programs are Photoshop and Paint Tool SAI. SAI looks really nice, though I've never used it.
