[Insert clever quippy one-liner here]Art is just a pasttime for me, I have no schooling to be amazing at it and no plans to take it on as a job in the foreseeable future. I've tried being more serious about it, but for me it seemed to take all the fun out of why I draw to begin with. I came to this website to share it and if people liked it, they liked it. (don't get me wrong, I think it's amazing when people like my art and have also taken away a handful of friends off this site. Lol). I do commissions here and there and art trades with friends and people I know (with patience. HA!). But I'm actually aiming to publish books, of all things..
I tool around in Photoshop CS and traditional media.... (one day I will finally upgrade my art program. ONE DAY..)

It's going pretty great! Just general day to day family stuff, a bit of work drama, and mostly working on portfolio/project art. But otherwise it's the same old, you know? Haha!
And yeah, it can be a real pain to keep in touch with people. I haven't been able to reconnect with so many family members and friends because of busy schedules, and just day to day life stress.
It's crazy to think about how when we're young we never know that it'll be hard when we get older. Spending every day pushing forward like the second we get older we'll be able to do whatever we want.
The thing is like yeah
We CAN do most things, but at the cost of other responsibilities. You CAN go drive yourself to vegas and blow away all your money and then some.
But the repercussions of that is pretty rough. LOL
But enough about that, how have things been going for you? I hope you've been keeping well!

All sounds like the regular, but good! Mostly. No one likes work drama. Lol And yeah, I can remember being in high school and my folks would come home and just like crash at the end of their days and I was like, but this is your free time! Now is the time to go do all the things!! But I totally understand it now. LOL I still work on creative stuff but gah, a physical labor job after 8 years just kicks my ass. LOL My brain is like mush at the end of the day. Despite how it sounds, things have been going good though. 2016, actually a pretty fabulous year so far. xD I'll take it!
