So, you don't know me, but I'm friends with Amanda from AST and she talks about you a lot. I see your a John Green fan, I think, and that makes me very happy. It makes me even happier than you're a fan of the theater because I wrote a play adaption of Looking For Alaska.

I'm not even sure if we'll legally be allowed to do the thing, but OMG, I want to so badly...it's really an awesome, fun piece that I feel could be done on the sort of budget (read: zero dollars, about) we have. I can't act to save my skin but I finally found something I can do in the whole writing thing and I really want to see something I worked on stage! It would just be so weird-amazing-strange-awesome.

That's what I was thinking. Then I realized that I don't have any money, and I'd need someone who loved me very, very much to give me a theater for a weekend or two! Hence why I love the character of the Colonel so much--we're both hyper-organized and completely financially incapable, hah.
