It wasn't really a challenge, other than the challenge for me this month is to write a short story each day, but it was based on a sound prompt, which really is just to give inspiration, not dictate how I write. I don't always write like this (I usually write in a much more conversational kind of style) but when I do write like this, it's a little challenging for me, but I hope to get better at writing in this style! And I'm so very glad you liked it!

Thanks for your support! I usually just write a little bit whenever something comes to me, but I figured flash fiction month (which is what I'm participating in to write everyday this month) would be a great opportunity to improve my writing, and to give me a sense of accomplishment writing something everyday

Oh good, I think writers just have to write when they have something to tell... Forcing is not a good option, except if it's to improve writing... I don't know if I express myself well (I'm French and my English not as good as I want)... I think writing must be a pleasure, if you HAVE TO write, if you force yourself, it's not good... I think you understand me because you say that you just write when something comes to you... (I think I went far away from the discussion... XD)

Haha yeah, I'm a very artsy person. And I haven't written a whole lot for music; I used to write a lot of song lyrics, I've written a few songs for guitar, and I've arranged some pieces of music, but I haven't really composed a song before.
I agree completely! And your English is actually really great! From what I can tell so far you are able to express yourself very well and I understand exactly what you're saying. And no, I don't think you went too far from the discussion!

Thank you, I think I'm not too bad in English at school, but on DA, when I see all of these people who speak, who write so well English, who ARE English (or from an English speaking-country), I feel a bit like a shit... - -' it's cool to know that people understand me

I agree! And I may post my songs, but many of my songs I wrote a very long time ago, so they don't have quite the same writing style that I have now; perhaps I'll just have to write some more in my current style then!
You're welcome! And don't worry! They're good at writing in English because it's their native language, like I'm sure you are great at writing in French because that's your native language! Whereas if I tried writing in French (or even Chinese, because that's what I'm learning in school) I'd be terrible!
