Ah okay.
I´ve tried your games and I really like these classic ones, especially when it´s possible to play with two people. Asteroids is awesome, although the asteroids move pretty fast and I´m not that skilled, guess I need a lot of practice. It is so enviably that people can create such things. Nice work! How much time did you spend on each game?
Oh I´ve made a few paintings but decided not to upload them here. I am still on this "mental-mexico-trip" and painted a frida kahlo portrait. But since I got a few new watchers because of my supernatural-picture I want to create another supernatural-piece, but still don´t have the motivation or idea to do one. So I´m not sure about what´s next.

Thanks I'm glad you like them . Hmm I must have sent you the wrong link for the asteroid one, because that's not my version (did it for a class so many people did the same game with slight differences). Try this one: Asteroids . If it still doesn't work, I apologize. One day I'm going to figure out how I can make it downloadable so people can play it on their desktop . No worries, it just takes practice, but one must have A LOT of patience to be a programmer that's for sure XD. Not sure I have what it takes. If you ever want to learn computer programming you can try codecademy.com or take the python course (or other programming courses) on coursera.org. Well the first two games it took me a week to do, while the last took 2 weeks. However, I had a lot of problems with all of them and I used the forums heavily to help me complete the programs, so I'm not as good as I'd like to be . Oooh I'd love to see them, but I understand if you don't want to post them. Maybe sometime in the future? Frieda Kahlo is awesome! Did you ever see her biopic film? I can give you some ideas if you like, just say the word ! Thanks, you too .

thanks a lot fot the suggestion. It took a while to answer, because my laptop finally totally crashed down. I´m working on an old laptop, which I borrowed from my sister.
Now your game works and I could play it forever. Awesome! It would be really nice if it would be downloadable. First I thought it already is, because there is a download button. But maybe it is only for the code? I didn´t do because, as I mentioned, this is not my laptop. I guess to weeks is a real short period of time for programming a game, right?! And I believe that it needs a lot of abstract thinking to understand the structure of programming, so I prefer to start really slow with the basics. I´m trying to learn html5 and css3 to create websites and noticed that I have to spend most of the time to search for bad syntax and misspelling. That requires a lot of patience. So when I get that stuff I think I´m ready to go further into more complexity like you.  And your skills can´t be that bad, especially if the first game-link wasn´t yours. Because your game worked better. Thanks a lot for the other link, too.
I have seen a documentary about her and the movie where Frida was embodied by Salma Hayek, i really like that version. You have some ideas for Supernatural? I´m always open to suggestions (but I assume that I can earliest start private projects from mid-November).

Yasvmw ! Aww, sorry about your computer, but no worries, I don't mind waiting. Are you going to get a new laptop or fix your current one? If you are going to get a new one, Cyber Monday is only a few months off (the Monday after Thanksgiving), so there should be a lot of good deals on computers at that time.

Awesome! I'm glad you like it . Yes, you are correct, it only let's you download the code. There is a way to play the game on your desktop by downloading the code, but that would require you to download python (not sure which version) and pygame, and change the code slightly. Since that's a bit of a hassle I wouldn't recommend it even if it was your laptop.
I have that setup on my computer, but it just makes it easier for me if to see what my code does especially if I don't have access to the internet. Yes, it is a short time to make a game. Granted you can make even simpler games faster than that, but if you are talking about a full fledged game than one might be able to get a stage/level done in a week (well at my level of expertise that is. I assume professionals would do it quicker). I think that's a good idea . That way, you'll understand the basics of programming so it will be easier to learn other languages . Plus knowing python, java, javascript, c++, c#, etc. could enhance your website in anyway you want. Lol, thanks, I'm still not sure how I sent you the wrong one. Yasvmw .

Ah, what was the documentary called? I'm not sure if I've seen it. Yep, that's the film I was referring to . It was awesome! Hmm supernatural, let's see *thinks* how about there is a piece where it's raining and someone is perhaps walking with an umbrella, but behind that person is a ghost. The difference is the ghost can only be seen through the raindrops if that makes sense. Like anything outside of the raindrops does not show the ghost appearance so there will be "breaks" in it's form. Does that make sense? Here is something similar if it helps: 1.bp.blogspot.com/_Za9zUQloyQM… Basically, like the image inside the words, the body is only shown in the rain drops, but (similar to the blue space around the word normandy) everywhere else the ghost body is not seen. Sorry if that's confusing...maybe I should try another idea. Hmmm an easier one could be someone looking in the mirror, seeing themselves in the mirror but also something else beside them (Creepy Claire perhaps? XD) even though they aren't beside them in real life/outside the mirror. Hmm one more idea just in case you don't like the others. Ummm you could draw a dreamcatcher at work, like what you would imagine a dreamcatcher would do while a person is sleeping. For example, if a person starts to have a nightmare, the dreamcatcher sucks it up and spits it out. Or perhaps it just has an "archive" of the dreams of that night in different areas of it. Or maybe it shields the person from various bad dreams as they sleep. Anything that comes to your imagination will work . Whatever you decide I think you piece will come out amazing .

yes, sooner or later I will have to buy a new one. But I´m not sure what kind of and I have to put money aside for it first... so it´ll take a while.
Oh, that sounds really complicated. I thought that I might download it and maybe open it local on my browser... didn´t expected that I have to add the other stuff, too. I´m convinced that i would be totally overchallenged by manipulating the code.
If I really get through html5 and css3 I could imagine to learn javascript as the next step (if I didn´t get tired). As you said, my goal is to be able to enhance a website in any way I want. But that would be a looong way.
I´m sorry, I´ve just seen the documentary by randomly switching  through tv-channels late at night and that´s a while ago.
I really like your idea about Supernatural, it has this subtle kind of creeps, which I prefer. The difficulty would be to visualize it in an appropiate atmospheric way. I haven´t seen something like that anywhere, so I will think about it, thanks a lot for the inspiration. The second idea is nice, too, but common. I´m not sure but probably I´ve seen something like this here on dA. It´s close to the "Bloody Mary" horror story, right? But it would be very funny if Creepy Claire would appear.
The third one is awesome, with your description I straightly have a complete scene in mind... I think this idea is strong enough to be created even without Supernatural-Characters in it... hmmm, you make me musing. Man, I would like to have your phantasy!

Ah, ok, if you need help with your computer search don't hesitate to ask .

It's not super complicated, BUT annoying and a bit time consuming in the beginning. The manipulation of the code so that you can play the game is only like 2 or 3 lines of code and it's the same each time so all you have to do is copy and paste it. I still don't recommend it though XD. There probably is an easier way, but I don't know it .

Ah, that's a good choice for the next step . Well I think you'll do fine with html5 and css3 since they are easy for the average person. javascript can be super annoying (for me at least because I keep forgetting semi-colons and such), BUT I know you can do it and it will be very beneficial to know it for what you want to do. Hmm it may be faster than you think . Ah, thanks anyway .

Yes, I really believe that. And I´ve noticed that in html/css, too: most of the work (beside searching for bugs^^) is copy and paste. But in the end you need to create one working individual code and that´s hard enough . We´ll see about javascript. Some say it bears a resemblance to actionscript in flash? !
Awww, but the unique idea would be yours anyway, I would only be the executive power.
