Hi there Obarin!
I remember that you had a added few favs and comments on my work 'The Dare'. This deviation has been removed now by me for various reasons. Sorry about that! Hope I haven't caused you any hassle, and the comments and favs were definitely much appreciated!
Thanks

My apologies Margaret.T.Whippleberry.

People may tell you that my name is Kate, but that's just what I want them to think; my name is actually Leopold. C. Tuppington.
It's quite a mouthful, wouldn't you say?

Hiya. Thanks for the watch as well. I'm actually going to have to see what's in each of the sections you faved because I can never remember what content has gone where. Oh, and thanks for the typo look-outs! I'd actually already fixed that one in the manuspcript but had forgotten to get it here on dA.

At any rate, I hope you have a good day and stay safe!

Obarin In reply to HysteriaBound [2008-03-16 09:05:24 +0000 UTC]

You're welcome!

Yes!
Brian Jacques was the whole reason I am such a bookworm now!

When I was six, I was reading the Harry Potter books by myself-

*groanHarryPotterIcan'tbelieveIeverlikedit*

-and I wanted a challenge and I wanted my Dad to buy me 'Mossflower', but he said he wouldn't because it was too advanced for me.
So I got it out from the library and read it to him aloud.

I have been in love with Brian Jacques ever since, his writing is so amazing <3

I could rant about him forever.
I can't wait for the new one this year, I have all the others that are out so far- they have their own shelf on my many bookshelves.
xD;;

HysteriaBound In reply to Obarin [2008-03-16 10:26:39 +0000 UTC]

I started reading him after my mum convinced me to get 'Salamandastron' out of the library. I said I wouldn't like it but she said she would read it to me and maybe I would. I ended up reading it myself on holiday and I cried at the end. I've been a collector ever since, and recently re-read from 'The Pearls of Lutra' to 'Rakkety Tam' again. I have the old-style paperback editions from 'Martin the Warrior' to 'The Taggerung' where you put them next to each other and each has like an abbey window with a main character in it on the spine I didn't know a new one was coming out though.

Obarin In reply to HysteriaBound [2008-03-16 10:39:57 +0000 UTC]

I have the old covers too.
But only up to 'Triss', then it still has the same style drawing on the front, but without the abbey window on the spine.

The really new covers are awful.
This is a bad picture, but just to clarify you know which ones I'm talking about [link]

Mhm.
I believe a new one is coming out this year, it had it on some website a while ago.
I hope one is anyway.
xD

HysteriaBound In reply to Obarin [2008-03-17 10:25:33 +0000 UTC]

Oh yeah, they are weird! They're kinda cool I think, but not as good if you're new to the story because it could be kinda hard to imagine the characters and the covers of the books tend to help out with that. But they're kinda neat, could be worse. Some of the covers shown in the banner are pretty weird, I haven't seen a lot of them before. Is the new one called Eulalia (or however you spell it)? Because the cover for that is in the banner but I haven't read that one!

Obarin In reply to HysteriaBound [2008-03-18 10:37:38 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I have this cover of Eulalia! [link]

I got it on the day it was released in my local bookstore.
I love it, it's an amazing one.
I think that is the amazing thing about Brian Jacques, he has so many books but they don't get worse, as most series with that many books in it do.
