You do a considerable amount of work and that is all I can say at the moment because I'm so sleepy hahaha. But I have some doodles that remind me of some of yours, but not nearly as many or detailed as yours.

haha, I feel you on the sleepy thing, but I'm an insomniac which is one reason I get so much work done. My load has slowed down severely the last few months due to me getting better overall, but also my attention to detail and planning has increased tenfold. Definitely have a look through my gallery when you're a little more awake, I organized them by time period which I find have their own particular styles. Chessboards is my current series which I started around mid-October of 2012 so that will give you an idea of where I'm currently at. And you may not have the same detail, but your color theory knowledge well exceeds my own right now since I'm self taught. You must be a fan of the abstract expressionists, particular Pollock (who hated being labeled as such).

well I know very little about contemporary statistical data on artists recent or historic. But he was known and acclaimed for what lots of others also did in their own ways.. he was in a position and had the right talent and connections, and so on lol. It's like I would love to be similar to Jim Carey in acting, but truthfully I don't know his life, and I don't know in fact whether it's worth being enamored over. Being in the spotlight happens for a brief period. Anyway I'll definitely have to look over your stuff later
