Yes, core isn't a free thing, but you can either buy it yourself, some random person or earn it by contests
Usually it's for decoration of pages, seeing who views your pages, and I'm pretty sure there's something that involves core in the submission page. It also helps you decorate your journal and make them more appealing to viewers. Back to the decor of page part, it can give previews of your journals and art. And more people would see your art since you have core, and you'll gain more watchers. You deserve more exposer.

Yes! But all digital arts - commissions or pictures for my merchandaise. So, i don't show it to deviantart/tumblr

Webcomic... no i don't. Cause it's hard to me to draw same characters because they are always looking like not the same character :D (Big Grin) + it's a lot of time and i just don't like comics a lot
