it's no problem really but best way to show gratitude is just send a llama I suppose. Also post more often, you have interesting pieces.

Marzzel In reply to PocketWhisperer [2018-04-22 13:56:49 +0000 UTC]

Thanks again. A llama can be done too, I just didn’t know they were popular anymore and anyone wanted them. So, a llama on your way now.

I would like to post more often, but I’ve been too much into office work to try to do anything. However I have a lot of unfinished projects sometime I’d like to finish.

PocketWhisperer In reply to Marzzel [2018-04-23 00:31:26 +0000 UTC]

eh, a llama is normally given when noticed, watched, fave and such. or just because. There are still groups around to help people collect llamas since after so many the llama changes on your badge and such. I'm guessing office work is your job. If you have 10-15 mins a day you can spare you can use that to draw here and there. It's a hard habit to get into but its possible. So you can still get some of your art & projects done.

I don't bite that much.
I'm glad you are doing ok, someone has to be a busy bee around here <3 I fill the position as the lazy bookworm basking in the sun on moth eaten pages... why did I put so much thought into that description? The world may never know.

PocketWhisperer In reply to spitesyre [2017-04-01 23:07:08 +0000 UTC]

pictured a worm basking in the sun on a half eaten book xD
Perhaps it's just how your mind works that you tend to put that much though into your descriptions?

Alright, i'll try not to assume I'm a bother and poke ya once in awhile, so long as you don't break skin.

What have you been up to besides basking

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

spitesyre In reply to PocketWhisperer [2017-04-03 00:50:11 +0000 UTC]

It would be very odd of my head to do so, since it doesn't put much thought into anything really....

I'll be sure to wear a soccer suit.

I've been so busy, I've barely had time to breathe air. Always in a rush & never on time haha. I've been doodling here and there when I can; I'd love to paint some more but I ran out of supplies. ;`; What about yourself? <3

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

PocketWhisperer In reply to spitesyre [2017-04-03 01:02:50 +0000 UTC]

Odd really? I assumed with your writing that descriptive is how you are >_<
Why a soccer suit?

Do you have any of your paints on DA, I've only notice your writings. I would love to see some of your paintings so long you dont mind.
I would like to say I've been busy, my work isn't that hard except trying to stay awake to finish it. Kinda of been in a funk hence the lack of any form of art. I have a crap ton of supplies, if you were closer I would send you some, Antarctica is pretty far for me to ship anything xD

What kind of supplies do you use for your paintings? I've only dabbled in watercolor and I love it thus far, I want to try out gouache.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

spitesyre In reply to PocketWhisperer [2017-04-04 02:58:14 +0000 UTC]

One would think that haha. Most of my writings are from late night scribbles in the wee hours of the morning, driven by sleep deprivation.
I do love to write, along with drawing and painting. Oh, I mustn't forget... games. Myes.
It was just a little quip =v=" a soccer suit, since you said you'd poke me ahah. :3

My paints are with traditional mediums... I say that as if they are professional when really they are the furthest you can get from pro, past sub par :P but because they aren't digitized, I don't have a means of uploading them, nor my pencil & paper doodles. .-.
I do 'draw' digitally when I get the time. I say draw in quotations, for I don't have a tablet and so I use a mouse, which takes me an eternity to get a single line done. On top of that, the program I use doesn't have layers, more than two or three brushes, or even basic things such as a fill bucket tool. It's basically MS Paint 2.0. x) I've tried Sai and I've been told by a friend to try out firealpaca, but out of the (what feels like) hundreds of programs I've tried, that one is the only one I've found in which has a 'pressure' feature that does not require a tablet pen to use. I've found it's very vital because almost every other online art program simply 'insta clicks' and makes mouse drawing quite difficult. ¬-¬

Is that so? I find it hard just to stay awake, much less find a way to summon energy.
Aw shucks. That's very nice of you to say. x3

I've only heard of gouache loosely, but it does sound interesting!!
I love watercolour & painting with walnut oils. As for supplies, I use just about anything I can get my hands on, but lately I've been using Sakura Koi paints. ^^

PocketWhisperer In reply to spitesyre [2017-04-04 09:29:58 +0000 UTC]

I must be grateful for your sleep deprived nights since your writing is a joy to read.

There was a time I had no scanner, I took photos using my phone. They weren't the best but it was my way to put my work up. During that time my work wasn't the best either but now I have something I can look back on and realize I have improved even if it did take me forever.  So if you want try using your phone to take pictures, even if you won't post them online you can save them to your pc as a reminder in the future.

What games do you play, do you have a steam? If so you must add meh :3/
I would think you would wear a soccer suit if I was planning to kick ya xD but go ahead I'll just sit there poking you until you roll away, in which I'll overreact and scream sorcery!

i attempted digital, there even a few pieces on my DA that are digital. My biggest issue is I keep my screen bright as hell so when I post my work it tends to be darker than I expected >_<
I've used trials of Photo shop, Gimp is my recent toy, I've downloaded cracked photo shop (before everyone was stuffed with Trojan viruses ). I currently have gimp but I honestly haven't bothered to touch it in quite awhile.

I feel the same way when I tell people I'm a novices artist, when really all I do is make wiggly lines and pray they look decent.

I never heard of walnut oils, that sounds interested. I mean I heard of making organic paints and such, seems to be a huge thing which I can understand, the world is dying as it is. No need to kill it off with my poisonous paints. (digs around for supplies)HA I knew it! I am also using sakura Koi, the pocket field sketch box, I looove it! Honest it was the first thing I purchased when deciding to try watercolor. I also have tubes some where... in a box... somewhere (steam pouring out of ears) I can't remember where.

I dabble in different forms of mediums in art for instances, I knit, I fiddle around with polymer clay, traditional clay (years ago), felt, wrote stories, poetry, sing (when in the shower xD) dance (when cleaning xD), a bit of makeup (more so in halloween) photography, that's all I think.
ADD for the win, I get bored or I give up quickly and move on to the new thing, so I have a crap ton of supplies for nearly everything I mentioned. I have an old camera that I use and adore.

I would love love love to see your work, that is if you trust me of course.

If it isn't creepy I would say you can add me on skype and or steam, skype so that we can share images easier like of meh messy desk   and your work or,  steam so I can secretly go through your list of games and find ones that I might play or consider playing because goddess knows I have no social life. to chat easier and possible play games

You flatter me.   I adore your paintings. I do apologise for having no time to comment on them and express my luvs. ,_, I'm surprised my inbox hasn't imploded from an overstuffing of unseen artwork notifs yet. I hate to delete them without even seeing them—it makes me feel bad an artist (like yourself) puts so much effort into their art pieces and me, being extremely lackadaisical, just deletes them when I could wait to ogle at them on a different day. So I guess they will have to pile up into a pixelated Mount Everest till I get some free time to go through them all. :p

This sounds incredibly absurd, but I don't have a phone.
I have one of my sis's old flip phones—no, I don't use it for phone calls or anything a phone is used for—I use it for an alarm that I set ten of in the mornings and will refuse to get up yet fidget around to find it only to mute the screeching contraction noises it makes for two hours. I'll be waiting for you to kick me in my soccer suit and scream sorcery.
Your wiggly lines and my squiggly lines should get together some time and have a tea party.

You sound like you have just about everything a human being would need to live through an apocalypse. If zombies start tearing through the ground, we'll be sure to come to you for bats and have an epic whack-a-mole wingding. ;D

I used to have a guitar. I didn't take music lessons; I quickly noticed my fingers became blistered after long periods of time playing and not having a pick.
I've wanted to knit but I never got the chance to. I do sew, sometimes.
Dancing and singing are the epitome of me haha. I can't do either to save my life.
I've thought about dipping my toes into photography in the past; I've always loved polaroid cameras. [Insert edgy hipster here.]

As for games, this is like with my music taste—it's very difficult because there are so many good artists and bands out there of almost every genre I love, and games are like that for me too.
I guess it depends on what type of games you mean. Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, PC, you name it.
I 'grew up' on Nintendo & PlayStation mostly. Then later on I dallied with Xbox & PC.
I love dungeon crawlers, beatem up sidescrollers, RPGs, and 2D pixel games mostly; like Terraria, for instance.

One of my favourite Nintendo franchises is Zelda. I know it's overrated, especially Ocarina of Time... but I feel as if the media only focuses on the 3D open world Zeldas of course, since that's what appeals to most people these days. But there are so many great 2D Zeldas. Link to the Past, the Oracles, Minish Cap, I love them. ;-;
Oh, and the music... even with the limited hardware of NES & SNES back then, the composers made amazing music in 8bit... game OSTs are another huge thing I'm into. As if that weren't obvious.

I know this sounds laughably ridonkulous, but I don't use Steam or even Skype, as of late. Long story short, Steam fudge popsicled me over with my money and I haven't decided to return back to using it because I unwillingly hold grudges.
I switched from Skype to Discord because my friends nagged at me to use it, to the point of dragging me over there by the neck scruff. :9

You have me geeking over here lol, I doubt your the only one with piles of unseen artwork ( I know I do) though I admit I also feel guilty at times, other times I'm just tired of seeing so the pile overflowing and I just delete delete delete. Later on realize I missed a few really good pieces or really important journals

It doesn't sound absurd at all, I went hmmm two years without a phone. I have a house phone because of it, its funny how most people have no idea what a house-line is.  although I have a phone now, because I need GPS since I'm direction-ally challenged.  Ps, my phone has this interesting feature where you have to answer questions in order to turn the alarm off which sucks when your half asleep and your brain is clearly in a coma still. Have you tried your local library? Ugh, I would totally lend ya my spare scanner

Tea party sure, my wiggly lines would be honored to go have a tea party with your squiggly lines

You are mistaken, I have nothing for a zombie apocalypse. unless I am planning to make them look pretty xD.

I also had a guitar but my sister broke it it was a gift and I was pissed.  what do you sew? Also everyone dances and sings it just always isn't a good idea to do it in front of people xD showers are best
Oh oh oh  polaroid cameras you mean the ones that you gotta shake the picture to get it to show, dude my mother had one they were always fun to play with though I would get in trouble.

They have these new ones that make tiny squares and I've been debating on getting it.

Sounds like we grew up on the same games, I also grew up on nintendo and PS. Favorite games were also Zelda for Nintendo and kirby on PS. Well the trend is the 3D but there are plenty of groups that enjoy 2D and oldies.

I use all three, I used skype for DND, steam for my gamer buddies and well I was using discord for free art and some DND days but no one on there talks so I honestly have no idea how discord works xD.
You can still add meh!

We have a house line too. x3 To be honest, I hate talking on the phone. I don't like texting, either... I'm now noticing how weird I am. q.q
Your phone sounds like a strict parent, bombarding you with onerous questions in the middle of your sleep. :A
Where I'm from, we don't exactly have a library exceptionally near us; it takes almost an hour just to get to a gas store or a mini market. It would be going out the way for something trivial, really. T`T
If I were you, I wouldn't even let me use a plastic spork because I'm such a klutz. xD But I'm much obliged by your niceness.

This made me laugh haha. Zombies walking down runways like models. L'Oréal, because you're worth it.
Ouch. `-` I don't have any little sisters or brothers. Sometimes I wish I did, but then I remember how selfish I am & choose the latter.
I just sew things when they're worn and torn and need repairing. Most of my clothes are handmedowns. I don't care what it looks like, as long as it's comfy and doesn't, yano, involve being half naked.
I figure most of the things I do aren't a good idea to do in front of people anyways. xD

I guess polaroids are back in style now... along with being nerdy or geeky. It's a bit of an insult, imo... because back then, if you were nerdy then that instantly made you a loser. Now if you have the thick black frames and wear suspenders, it makes you 'cute'. Doesn't even include actually being anything a nerd is supposed to be. :I

I loved Kirby 64 & Nightmare in Dreamland on GBA. ^_^
I also loved the show Right Back At Ya, as I did Sonic X. I know they have a bad rep, especially Sonic X but when I was younger, those shows (and TMNT) were the only reason I'd get up early on saturdays. It was the one thing I looked forward to every week. I loved the 90s Sonic the Hedgehog too. ^^ Sonic's been shafted over the years I think.

DND? I have no idea what that is. The only thing that comes to mind is Dungeons & Dragons. :3

Sweet! You can add me if you'd like, mine is spitesire #7188. cx
