and I was reading about the Krama on Wiki quickly-

( i had a dream (similar to another one i had with raquel but junipero was in this dream--)
and well
raquel and junipero were guiding me around mexico for some reason and we came across animals that weren't actually found in mexico-
and as soon as we encountered the first one (it was a black bear, too-) junipero just sort of left without saying a word and then me and raquel were all alone and we into this abandoned town-
and then junipero came back saying he forgot something but he didn't do anything and left again it was so weird-- )

( I made an OC for the Bagan empire ( unfortunately she's not FULLY done ;A; )and now all I'm picturing is Khmer empire and Bagan fighting over whether Angkor Wat is better or if Bagan is better-

I know in Myanmar here, they've got some things some other people would find interesting-
The Burmese men used to be tattooed from their waist to their knees- )

((It depends on what you're looking for, really. Like during the ancient times, particularly Nokor Phnom and Kambujadesa (though the practice still carries to modern day in more rural provinces) men would cover their entire bodies- including face and feet- in Yantra tattoos. The Yantra tattoos were said to protect the person they're tattooed on.
We also have fourteen months instead of twelve, and romanization of Khmer tends to result in spelling variants.
While Cambodia is primarily Theravada Buddhist, the city of Phnom Penh has been known to celebrate Christmas and Valentines day.
There's a lot really, like how we have massive kites that, when flown up high, play music.
Oh-and some "accents" are almost dialects in their own right. You can pick out Khmer-Australee from Phnom Penher by just listening to their manner of speaking. Phnom Penher Khmer is almost notorious for being "slang/lazy" manner of speaking.

At the moment the two are actually noted as possibly the most corrupt in ASEA according to poll results from last yearicpetermahidol.wordpress.com/2β¦
With Burma,Cambodia used to be trade rivals with. This was particularly concerning Sri Lanka (which introduced to Cambodia Theravada Buddhism,its current religion). Much of their disputes concerning trade and jealousy regarding closeness. They both regarded Sri Lanka as "The HolyLand of Buddhism" and disputed for closer relations. I added a link with the large chunk of history concerning Cambodia's disputes with Burma over trade as well as their relations with Sri Lanka.
