Sorry to hear the game development stuff is draggin', but I can understand that coding it isn't all that fun... everytime I've tried to make a game, that's always what stops me. It's easy to think up ideas, but then actually trying to figure out how to make any of them work...

There's also a huge amount of writing involved, and then you gotta make it work! But yeah, I need to hit the books, read up on how to fix the bug I'm having, and then move on. Or possibly let it be. The issue is the game will occasionally throw a huge wall of text at the player, which isn't fun, but I haven't really found a way to deal with that yet.

That's true! Although I'd hope the writing part is more enjoyable then the coding part!
I've replayed the ol' Yakyuken v2 from time to time. Still enjoyable after all this time. Always bounce around various game ideas in my head, but I'm only really good at writing... coding or anything is beyond me, haha.
