it depends on the region, the season and the cyclones.
and some personal idea of what is actually cold or freesing)
we had -35 degrees in Moscow some years ago but it was an exception, i think. most of young children stayed home at that time of course.
as it's really changeable it can be from 0 to -15 or -20 in most cases in winter and from +10 to +30 in the summer.
this summer was not very sunny and in 2010 we had +40 which i think was hell but went ok if swimming all day in some lake)
