Favorite visual artist: Don't have a particular one, I just know what I like when I see it. Colors and lack thereof tend to capture my attention more, though emotive pieces always seem to speak to me as well.Favorite movies: Dune (not SyFy's version) because it started my early appreciation of all things sci-fi, Star Wars trilogy (original version), Evil Dead, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Galaxy Quest, The Princess Bride, Fifth Element, and Pacific Rim.
Favorite TV shows: Once Upon a Time, Eureka, Firefly, Haven, Sleepy Hollow, Ugly Betty, Doctor Who, Supernatural, and Almost Human
Favorite bands / musical artists: I am all over the place with this one. From classical to heavy metal, depends on what I am working on and I fit the music to get inspired.
Favorite books: My first two loves were Ann of Green Gables and Little Women. Now I read whatever I get my hands on, though genre-wise I tend to lean towards horror, sci-fi, and fantasy.
Favorite writers: Dean Koontz, Stephen King, James Patterson, George R.R. Martin, Ray Bradbury, and Edgar Allen Poe.
Favorite games: Wow, so many! I am a BioWare addict-they make it, I buy it. Adventure, RPG & FP Shooter FTW!
Favorite gaming platform: Xbox 360, cuz I can and soon we are upgrading to the Xbox One. :D
Tools of the Trade: My wits, humor, good music, a Bamboo Fun tablet, and little else. Oh, and COFFEE with loads of sugar and cream!
Other Interests: Video Games, Writing, and trying to stay sane.

Hello there fantastic stranger. Here to spread the positive vibes. <3 (I found you because of the 'Random Deviant' button)
Being positive is great.
From riding a roller coaster to just eating a snack you enjoy, smiling, laughing, or spreading the love, we've all been positive at least once in our lives.
And today,
I want your life to be positive.
I hope you'll have a dream tonight about doing your favorite things, be it being with loved ones, watching a new season of your favorite show, anything really. Or, even better, that you get to do those things!
Because you deserve all of the happiness in the world. You are amazing, you are great, you are loved and worth it. Never forget that. <3 Thank you for existing, my dear. You matter so much.
But most of all, I want YOU
-that's right, you-
To have a positive and wonderful day. <3
Lots of love. <3

You are very welcome! I always admire your gorgeous art, but I don't always have the time to properly look through dA to find new faves! So glad I ran across these!
Keep up the lovely work!

I always think I should use more colour but I really like plain old pencil

I don't know why, but pencil drawings are really beautiful to me. It is the lack of color that draws my eye to notice more things, like the expressive lines or small details that I would miss otherwise.

Yeah I find sometimes if I clean up a pencil sketch with felt, it loses something

Thank you!! I have a horrible time with mobile showing me comments, so I only see them when I log into deviantArt on my computer or laptop. I truly appreciate the birthday wishes! I hope all is well with you!

Glad to hear that! Yeah, deviantArt mobile is miserable for things like notes. :/ Also not fantastic if you are wanting to look at deviations you watch.

I'll admit I've never tried Deviantart mobile, is that the version you use on your phone when you're away from your comp? XD (Probably a silly question, but I don't even use the internet on my phone, so I have no experience >.> )

That is ok, I am a n00b to it myself. Yes, you use the deviantArt app on your phone and it is less than desirable. I really don't even use it because it is so difficult to navigate. I can navigate my own gallery easy enough, but my watched deviations not so much and responding to people who comment is fine, but locating folks to note, something else I can't figure out. And you don't see notes at all. I have no clue how to access notes that way. I just stay off the app and wait until I have time to get to my computer to browse deviantArt.

Hehe that's understandable.
BTW, would I be correct in assuming you've played (and completed) Dragon Age 3? XD
....I'll admit I haven't yet, because that game is just HARD for me. >.> I do like it, but somehow I find the combat mechanics very difficult and I can't figure out how to do anything. And when I reached the part involving the Well of Sorrows, I literally cannot get anywhere with the elf guardians because my party gets creamed every time I try, as if they're standing still. And I am at a Level 15 or whatever it was, so THAT shouldn't be a problem.
I guess I'm just saying.... I miss the way the combat was in DA, and even DA2, because at least I could figure that stuff out. In Dragon Age 3, well... I feel like I'm dealing with a completely foreign system and I don't know how to do anything. >.> And it often feels like my party is just standing around firing peashooters and using butterknives, for all the good it does against enemy health. No matter how great the visual effects are or how much it looks like magic spells and brute force are slamming into an enemy's flesh, the opponent's health only goes down very, very slightly and gradually, or sometimes not at all.
....At least I had the satisfaction of seeing enemy health go down steadily when in combat in DA1, and even DA2. In DA3, I don't know what the heck I'm doing.
