Question. How do you post your painted portraits? Special scanner? Awesome photography skills?

A bit of both maybe. For the watercolor paintings I use a scanner, although it's really nothing special, it's the Canon MP280, which I bought for £18 on sale. (It is quite handy actually since it's one of those multi function... things...
The stuff that's on canvas I sometimes print, but if they're too large and don't fit inside the scanner then I take photographs (again, nothing really all that special, it's the canon EOS 1100D, in their more... affordable range). If I photograph them I have to try several times before they look right by adjusting the light and repositioning them (which basically means I turn up the light in my ONLY lightsource in my flat, and then I try propping the paintings up against the wall and I lie down flat on the floor to take the picture...
