I'd say it's almost as complex as low-cost commercial 3D products. It's not as user friendly as something like Cinema 4D or Maya, but it's open source and can be run on many platforms.
Yafray is basically an external renderer for Blender. It's not that hard to use, because if you change the renderer setting to Yafray, then Blender will add features such as photon lamps, global illumination, different mirror/reflection/fresnel settings, among other cool things.

No problem! I hope I don't offend you, but in thumbnail size 'Lucid Dreamscape' looks kind of like beginning of the end of the world to me.
But in the normal size it is quite outstanding.

It's not my fault that LDScape looks like the apocalypse in thumbnail mode. It was made to be viewed in full view.
