My apologies for the late reply;

As I said in the note, I have been incredibly busy with college and work, as I have been going year round so I can get my four year degree (with honors) this December. Also, I will be officially starting my 6 year/Masters/graduate degree next spring, and will only lack 6 classes since I have already taken 4 of them while taking my undergraduate program (through a special program that allows you to take graduate classes and have them count towards both your undergraduate and graduate degree). I am hoping to become a graduate assistant in the spring and be reimbursed for classes and additional graduate work performed, and be able to quit my other job so work and school will be in the same place and the same city. Hopefully all this hard work will pay off (I am in the top 5% in my undergraduate degree, and I currently have a 4.0/perfect score in my graduate degree).

I hope things will work out for you eventually! Me, I'm okay, I suppose. You've probably noticed few of my latest vent arts. But I'll hope that will change, and that I'll take the initiative to do points commissions.
I'll quit the school I'm on by next weekend, will be moving into my own apartment instead. That building has staff that can help those of my mental condition, which is great.

Meh, I am sorry for not being active on dA at all. I have a serious lack of disposable time. Vent arts are fine, I certainly have done my share of them. I try not to do them anymore, or at least don't upload them. I have so many unfinished artworks in various stages that I need to finish. I have taken on anthro drawing again as well, while trying to learn anatomy better. I may try humans again someday, but I have issues with faces (and hands). For the some reason, anthro or human anatomy is easier than animal anatomy for me.

Well, I hope that all works out for you. College can be a challenge, especially when you are working and you have to travel a long ways to get there. I certainly will be glad when I get done, and am able to afford a place of my own. I hope Bandit won't wreck the new place. XD

Anywoof, I am officially being hired on as a Graduate Assistantship for next spring and fall, meaning I will be paid to go to graduate classes (free tuition too). XD Since it includes a sizable enough stipend, I can quit my current job and only have to worry about one long commute instead of two long commutes (currently I am commuting from 3 large cities). Plus, the school has a very nice gym which I have already been strength training/weight lifting at twice a week; maybe I can go more often and make use of the pool there? At least work and school will be in one place. The classes are all at night, 6-9 PM usually once a week and they are 7 week instead of 15 week so they are compressed and there is a boatload of homework.
I will be getting my undergraduate degree in December 2014(with honors), and I should graduate from the masters/graduate program in December of 2015 and hopefully have a nice full time job then. I won't be taking classes in the summer so I may intern or find a summer job to get more money.

Oh, and I officially switched to Android now. I loved iOS but the Samsung Note series has a very nice Stylus that is made by wacom and beats using a lightbox to clean up art. Samsung had a guaranteed $200 trade in on the Note 4, and I got an open box Note 8 dirt cheap (cheaper than you can find it refurbished; this thing is practically new and was half the new cost) from the local liquidator. Programs like ArtFlow and LayerPaintHD allow the use of layers, and exporting to PSD so I can trace over inked lineart and have it really clean when I put it in photoshop or whichever art program I use on the computer. It's not exactly a Wacom Cintiq or anything, but it was less than 1/10th the cost.

It is taking me a bit longer because I have been working the entire time, college is a ~ 80 mile round trip and work is ~ 56 mile round trip. I did get into a program where I have four classes in my undergaduate degree double count as classes in the graduatedegree (provided there is an approximate match between the two) so that should speed things up. Most graduate classes are seven week accelerated classes, night classes, and have a minimum passing grade of 80. I should only have six classes to worry about after December, and was pursuing the Security and Assurance branch of Information Systems, but I hear they may be opening up a Data Analytic (think data mining) branch in the spring. I am sort of torn between what to do and wish I could major in both. They do not have a doctorate in information systems hear (closest thing is computational mathematics), so I guess that is about the point I stop. A masters degree is a good stopping place anyways, and for the most part a doctorate would only be beneficial for teaching in the field I am in.

Anyways, sorry for not being on much. I have been insanely busy and sometimes there is an unreal amount of coursework. Great to hear from you!

WARNING: rant ahead

TBH, life has been really hard recently. I have college and work year round, as well as a buttload of driving (most in traffic; 27th worst traffic in the country I believe).

This fall I will be in college full time; all upper division and/or masters level classes, driving 350+ miles/14+ hours a week, and working. It will basically be like working two full time jobs (except I am being paid below the poverty line for it; a net loss). It just seems like nothing good is going to ever come out of it; I am afraid I am going to get stuck in some peon entry level help desk job for the rest of my life with the economy as it is. To make matters worse I have constantly felt sick...

To make matters worse, when I do have time for art it seems like none of my watchers care about it. It is like I only have 10 watchers; if I post anything not Balto related and do not submit it to several groups less than 10 people will interact with it; why the heck do I have 273 watchers if just 10 of them really watch me!?
I have been contemplating deactivating my account once my premium sub runs out (or when the Fall semester starts, whichever comes first); nobody on here seems to care so why should I? Apparently my artwork is not good enough to be on here, so why should I waste time polishing it and uploading it if no one cares? :/

Aww.. I'm really sorry to hear that things are so bad... Just know that I'm here whenever you need some support. *brohug*

I kinda know how you feel about your art. I hardly ever have anyone comment on my work that takes me hours to do.
The important thing is to do it no matter what people think. Do it for you, not anyone else.

As far as how I've been doing, I admit it is better than you, but my life is still pretty bleh right now. I've been away from home since the end of May because of my issues, and I'll only have minimal time there for several more weeks. I'm lucky I can even get on here, cus a couple of the sites I go on are blocked where I am. The good news is that I'm slowly getting better, but I wish it would happen a lot more quickly.
I'm also working on a story involving a character I created recently that I plan to post on here when it's done. I honestly think you'd like it.

As I said before, remember that I'm always here for you, and even if I don't reply immediately, I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I'll keep praying for you.
