shut up!!! omg shoujo is not amazing; its just a cheezy story about a girl who falls in love with a boy and then they have these "periods" and get together and eventually have sex and they break up with the girl pregnant and then the girl have child and they realized who unfair it is for the child and the 2 get together again >.>

Umm...just what shoujo did you read? I've never read a shoujo like that...I feel ignorant now 
i mean, usually it goes like this: a girl meets a boy and either hates him or likes him at first sight. Then, the boy is either: A=really cheerful to contrast the heroine, or B=stolid, brave mysterious because he has a dark past, or if it's a really good manga, is fatally ill(*COUGH COUGH* Gakuen Alice *COUGH*. Though In Gakuen Alice's case, the heroine actually has a dark past too...) Then, it gets cheesy =_= and there's accidental meetings and the kinda cliche "accidental kiss", and they realize their in love way later in the game.
Of course, this is only the one genre of shoujo I've read, usually centralized towards a younger/chilidh audience, where the girl is a pre-teen or teenager. Yeah.
