Greetings and welcome!
Incarnazeus alias Shinigami Jay here.
I am not an artist -- I consider myself more a poet or a writer if anything. My artistic skills are rather limited, my strengths lie in creating forum signatures, wallpapers and/or other graphic work. That and in writing, though I haven't picked up my feathered sword in a while to put to paper what is unfolding itself in my mind.

5th semester, so 2 1/2 years. x) Should be done next year!
And yup, three day weekend. ;..;
I'm studying British Studies (major) and Linguistics (minor).
Plants are fine I guess, hopefully the ones outside will survive the winter D;

Yeah, studying is pretty nice aside from the work
Yup, British Studies is more or less everything 'bout Britain (and some English basics such as translation, grammar, linguistics and academical writing), from history to literature to media and culture. It's cool!
If the plants aren't used to cold temperatures, their chances of survival are relatively slim... Last year Henry I died of the cold but during spring Henry II mysteriously started growing. Hopefully he gets to see another season! Particularly as he grew quite big this summer (he's conquered half the house side in length already!)
And unfortunately, we don't have that much space (and windows) left for new plants, but I'm quite satisfied with my sansevieria Chucky and Georg III (cactus)

damn, bad teachers are terrible, gotta study on your own :/ i can sort of relate to terrible teachers, there are some here at my school who don't teach -at all- *sigh*so the only choice our class has is basically read the book by ourselves and cram.Β
i guess after a few years the uni will be better organization-wise ^^ something to look forward to? although i guess you'll be gone when it really gets good (the unfairness.)

Henry II is the passion flower x) Didn't grow any sunflowers this year^^
And yeah, Georg I was a biotachi (bonsai cactus, like 3cm in size)... and kind of dried up
Georg II was a medium-sized cactus but died as well... its insides were all mushy and slimy :S
Georg III is still thriving I guess (still looks the same as when I bought him).
I'm sure there are plants that even you can grow! And if not... there are always plastic plants
'bout Uni, I'm pretty lazy and to be honest, I've not that much to do (during the semester), that changes upon the approach of the finals though D: Jobs... well... my subjects kind of don't qualify me for anything proper sadly... It's often linked to jobs in the media or stuff related to academics and such but you're pretty much on your own ;_;
It's awful if you've to teach yourself at school, I can feel you there! As long as the "teacher" gives you good grades in exchange for their incompetence it should be bearable though... Hang in there! How many more years do you have ahead of you?

yeah, im usually pretty successful with cacti since theyre pretty low maintenance, but plastic ones are definitely an option lol! or those plushie plants haha.
having not a lot to do is not the same as being lazy
ah nope, the teacher completely gives 0 shits and still grades just as hard. i pretty much dropped a bomb in my grade because of the final i took last month. thankfully, i'm in the last year of high school already so there's only about 5 months left. CAN'T WAIT FOR FREEDOM!! although im not sure if university life is that much better ;w;

Can't speak for the uni life in your country, but here it's definitely better than school sort of (you just have to do more on your own
I cannot become a teacher (and never would want to be one, poor crazy people!) as that is a different degree from mine (Bachelor of Education vs. Bachelor of Arts) since they need to learn all sorts of additional stuff (how to treat students and such).
I assume you'll have a bit of time for yourself after you're out of school before you have to take the next steps in your life, so enjoy that time well and relax! >

I'm fine, nothing really new tbh. New semester, still playing GW2 (and currently Child of Light <3)... that's it
My plants are fine C: Got a new plant in my ranks, a pepino (bears edible melonpear fruit thingies!! I won't eat 'em tho...) called Francis x)
Hopefully they'll all start blooming soon ;_;
