lol, im a vulpix (despite having a penis, yes, i lied to the game XD) and my partenrs a shinx. so OP in boss fights

vulpix though CANNOT DEFEND HERSELF.
her stats are oriented more of defense, her poor attack stats and move pool make her very vulnerable on her own, though her role as a support char makes her a deadly pokemon in the right paws.
a shinx is the perfect partner due to his high offenses, decent defences and powerful attacking movepool from the early game on. Charge, linked with any physical electric move, usually spark, makes for an insane combo, inflicting 300+ damage on bosses o3o
