First of I wanna say I LOVE MATCHMAKER! *-* I marvel at your writing skills!
I have a question, however. How do you plot the story? Or do you even plot at all? I'm having trouble and the methods I'm using just aren't working.

With Matchmaker, I actually came up with the summary before anything else, haha. It sounded hilarious in my head and I had to come up with a story to go along with it. I basically knew that I wanted a Chiccolo story, and I had the cute little summary (After the Cell Games, Gohan takes it upon himself to help his mother out of her stagnant love life - and what better way to do that than find her a date for Bulma's annual party? Come to think of it, Piccolo's going stag too... Can Earth's greatest hero find them both dates in time?). After that, I started figuring out what I wanted them to do. Since the story is called "Matchmaker," I knew that I had to have Gohan be the catalyst behind the pairing, haha. I obviously don't want to give too much away, especially since there is only one chapter left, but I think it's safe to assume you know that they get together, haha, especially since it says after the summary... 
After knowing the general story line, I made a more in-depth plot line. From there, I take each chapter and make a bullet point list with what I want/need to have happen in about 6k words 
- Chichi and Gohan getting ready for the party
- breakdown difs btwn Chi at beg and now
- something with Gohan's ridiculous hair
- Gohan baits Chichers (Pixie)
SWITCH PIX
- tux, zee booty
- arrive at CC
- bump into G and C
- DESCRIBE CHI'S DRESS
- start party, intro other chars as necessary
- start dancing
- Beth notices that Pic can't stop staring at Chichi's chichis lol jk not really
